Changing F129 made my radio work! Thank you so much! I went to three different technicians who said they needed $100 in order to see the problem. And this fixed it for over half the price. Now my volume won’t turn on, but I tested my amp fuse, 29, the gray fuse, and that one was blown too. So my volume should work after changing the amp fuse. You are a blessing.
I have the same problem, But all my fuse are good. I have power at the radio connector and at the display connector. But the display stays black. while my hvac controller works. I can turn up the fan and change ac to heat, but only comes out of the floor vents. This problem happened after i had to jump start the vehicle. What else can i check?
Do a reset...that might help. Disconnect the battery for 20 min or so. Computer will do a reset. If that doesn't work do a hard reset. Be careful with this procedure. I dont have a video on how do it,but there are some videos here in RU-vid on how to do this procedure. Hope that helps 🙏
@@larasgarage2021 thanks I did disconnect the battery for over an hour but it didn't help. What I ended up doing was hooking up my OBD2 scanner. It has the option to scan all the modules. The 11 it read all had codes for low battery voltage. So I erased all the codes and my display started working. Not sure why the codes didn't erase when the battery was disconnected. But hope this helps someone else.
No is not the fuse bro. If is not working when u touch it i think it just went bad. U might need to replace it. Or do a reset. That might help. Disconnect the battery for a couple of hours. Positive and negative. That will reset everything in your car. If that doesn't help,its time to replace it brother.
There is only one way to know...try it and let us know!! I think a lot of people will like to know the answer 🤔.... All I know is that if u want to do that u have to replace the whole unit or fixture...the trim holding screen,screen, and maybe the ac module (remember in this cars the ac module works or feeds directly from ur screen) but maybe the ac module will work with the bigger screen... u just have to try it. * u can get parts from a junk yard to try them on ur car....if it doesn't work u can return it....just make sure junk yard accept returns...sometimes they just give u credit for returns parts 🤷♂️ let us know! If windows were working before...then u do this repair amd out of nowhere windows stop working?? Yes i think u did hehe...just look at the diagram and make sure u have the right fuses...check one by one and test it.
