This week collaborator Chris O has been rocketing around in the new 2017 Ford Fusion Sport. We swapped cars for a few hours and I got a chance for another drive in one. I drove a Fusion Sport for the first time at the MAMA Fall Rally in Joliet, IL and was impressed by its power and overall dynamics. The suspension is a bit too softly damped for my tastes, but on bumpy Michigan roads it's better than the opposite. Power is awesome, Chris says he was able to get a 4.99 second 0-60 in the car with some generous brake torquing. The Fusion Sport isn't a Fusion ST...but it's definitely a wolf-in-sheep's clothing! Maybe that's why it gets under my skin a bit. I dig it.
