Another awesome video. Was going to play around doing the exact same to see how close I could go, no need to now. Especially love the top-down view for those times when close just isn't close enough :)

Having just bought a CR V a few days ago, I've watched a lot of these videos. This was the most helpful regarding the backup camera.

OMG this is so helpful!!! I just bought a certified used 2016 honda crv end if July, and I had no clue what those lines meant and my bumper keeps getting jagged because I reverse into "things"😵😩😭...I am so tired of it! This video is amazing, thanks a million!!!

Thank you for tutorial on rearview camera, it's the thing I hate about my crv because it doesn't have red, yellow, green lines.I find it difficult to gauge distances

I have the same car. Wondering why doesn't it have beeping sound to show when get to close to another car. That would be helpful..do you have to pay extra for that

I have 2017 Honda CRV with the same features as in the video. I took it to dealership a couple of weeks ago because the sensor was on for tire pressure. I was told tire pressure was good ,it had to do with sensors & was fixed. However i noticed now my car does not beep when i back up close to cars. I returned to dealership and was told it is in my imagination as i never had the features in the 1st place. However I see this video and i have the same features including cross traffic monitor. I tried to turn it on and off, not working. Any advice?

How do I install apps on a 2018 Honda CRV EX-L? I press the app button on the info screen, there is ONLY a calculator, an app installer, and a download app. That is all. Where do I find apps to download and bring over to the car via a flash drive? Cannot find any websites with apps that work with this car? How can one browse the internet with no browser app either

It looks like you need to have a .APK app on a USB drive, then download it to the car. Try doing a Google search for APK apps. That should give you more info on what your looking for.

One problem I have come across is, the backup camera has poor visibility when it rains or snow.

Buy one of those dashcams that you can attach over your rear view mirror with 2 rubber straps. Cost somewhere between $50-$75. Those comes with an extra camera . Fix that camera inside on the tail gate. Since the wiper cleans the tailgate glass, this works perfectly on a C-RV. Don't know about the vision coverage on other cars.

I have a 2017 Accord sport se an the camera is junk for backing up at night. Don’t let rhese guys get you. Try that camera at night before you buy the car you’ll prolly change your mind after seeing how the camera features work at night an rainy days I’m actually thinking about returning my car for something else

Any idea why the backup camera quality on the 2018 crv is worse than my 2016 civic's? First thing I noticed after driving the crv home.

The models with the touch screen to have better image resolution. Other than that, I'm not sure if there are any differences in the screen or camera between those cars.

Same on my 2017 crv exl with touch screen. It is worse than my 2015 Mazda cx5. It is like 90s camera or something..

Does the touring come with back heated seats and is it standard

The 2017 CR-V Touring does not have rear heated seats. Just the front seats are heated.

DELLA Honda in Plattsburgh is this a touring you're showing. And does all the trim have the Cross monitor feature

I believe it was a Touring model that I was in. However, everything in this video would pertain to the EX model and up. The EX models and higher all have the rear cross traffic monitor.

DELLA Honda in Plattsburgh I just called one of my local dealer and he mentioned the touring trim does come with back heated seats. Unless he was wrong.
