I just bought that exact car, except I have the premium package. I have had it for 2 weeks, and it continues to surprise me how much I am falling in love with my Hyundai.
robert hoffman i think this is my car....i've been researching and researching for something sporty with more than 160hp....i can't wait to test drive one.
You wont be disappointed. Excellent value for the money. You can get 3 to 4 k off the sticker price. I just got a gray one MT with the premium package. Very impressed with it.
I just traded in my 2016 Chrysler 200S for the 2018 Hyundai Elantra Sport and got my wife a new 2017 Veloster Turbo. Loving it considering I never saw myself as a Hyundai type person. Hyundai has stepped it up big time.
Hey GoldPony, I love the interview, road test &( OMG) loving the exhaust sound.....sounds like something twice the size!!! I have an elec. Blue '17 limited which I do love & ill bet ,using synthetic oil, octane booster, and manual sport mode- id be able to give this baby a run for its money......( dont forget K n N filter) That set up for me is kickin some serious butt on the roadways!!!!
Great review, Gold Pony! I recently reviewed this vehicle, too and it sure did impress me! I have to say that exhaust just sounded superb! 👌😲 Keep up the great work, Drew! DriveAndBeDriven, staying gold! 😉🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 -DriveAndBeDriven 🚘 "The Quest To Record The Best!"
YoungHugs, I have road around in the more mainstream Elantra (SE), and the road noise was very well maintained and kept at a minimum! When it came to wind noise, you ever so slightly got a slight whistle near the mirrors (& "A" pillars), but nothing really to complain about! Even under highway speeds, while not completely isolating you... The Elantra is definitely ahead of many of its competitors in that regard! :-) As far as, the Elantra Sport goes I cannot say much... Since I wasn't able to ride in it, but expect a little more road noise due to the larger tires (which have less rubber). Wind noise should remain well maintained, and shouldn't be an issue if it stacks up to the Elantra SE's cabin! Thanks for replying! I truly love Gold Ponies reviews! He is one of my idols! ;-) -DriveAndBeDriven 🚘 "The Quest To Record The Best!"
and holy hell i remember following you at like 5k subs now your at 26k! congrats on the quick growth i am very sure a year from now youll be ay like 126k! beat of luck bro
Hey man you said the driver seat is 6-way power adjustable. Are you sure this is correct? I've seen multiple other reviews state that both front seats are manually adjusted. Thanks!
This one is FWD... However... I have read that Hyundai plans on doing a Focus RS fighter with around 275hp and AWD... Not sure when that one's coming out though... I think in Korea right now they are calling it the I30N.
I was about to buy a charger sxt , then stumbled on this video and something about this car caught me lol, I know they are totally different, and meant for diff type of ppl but I keep hearing how if it's not the RT it's not worth it , and the more I thought about it , I don't have any kids and it's just me and my girl who will ride in my car so don't need a full size sedan , and the 0-60 speeds is about the same 6.5 seconds from this vs charger. Plus this has Android auto. Just based on my budget I can get a 2018 ententra SPORT premium for 20k about the same as a v6 charger 2016 .
Holy shit you like the dude from... Well he's an adult film actor. I don't want to say their names if it IS you. It has to be you. If it is, I am a fan of your videos. 😜
Coming off a VW. It still cant compare. Its a fun car, but youre going to need to drop at least 1k to get it in tip top shape. Its got great pick up but lacks in the higher ranges. It also is very very loose. Weiving in this car needs to be improved significantly to bang with the fiesta st gli and si Can we please get more feel from the road? But for a zippy and quick daily for overtaking, this car is perfect. But notready for a track day
