You guys win all the long-distance races! Kenyans and Ethiopians! I think you guys have an unfair advantage of being chased by lions growing up! 😂 I'm Nigerian, and only thing we win is football (soccer)!
@@experiment0003 Kenya also won Olympic silver and gold in 4 x 400 m relay in 1968 and 1972 respectively, and 2015 World Championship 400 m hurdles. Therefore it's not just long distance races only.
KENYANS rule the 800m is their event and the maranthon the athletics federation there just sucks if they would help the athlettes they would defenetley more GREATS
Well I try to get this but I did not get in but I going to try next year 2022 I doing the virtual one this year 2021for cancer research look for ward to be in the london marathon
Cecil Evans its in her hips. Her lower back is way too tight and she's massively limiting the range of her knee drive because of it. That's why her legs swing to the outside, they can't pull straight underneath her because of her limited range of motion
Thats why I dont trust these doping allegations, its like some sponsors somewhere were not happy by his poor performance yet he was so much expected to win, even the commentators and the cameras were all biased on him all throughout the race.
most biased commentary i have ever listened to. Those BBC commentators are disgusting. How about you comment on how the actual race is unfolding as opposed to what you would like to happen. Good job Wanjiru...Too much odds
Biased in the men's race and really harsh on the winner of the women's race. You'd think they could have saved a little praise for Keitany, but it was one snide remark after another.
I hate seeing pace makers as morally it's akin to cheating. The art of running is both a physical and mental exercise, or rather it should be. Providing a third party pacing brain, and a physical drag, is akin to going sailing with a set of bellows. This point also ties in with the women's marathon records - one record for women only races and a different record for mixed races. Ask yourself why? (Listen to Paula's comments at 1:25 about receiving assistance).
Eight seconds closing the gab,Kenennisa was still jogging. Maybe too tiered or maybe he was happy to be second place. He should watch this video and ask himself I’m the greatest, why I didn’t go a bit faster than I did?
To me this was the worst marathon coverage- the camera kept showing things and people we are not here to see🙄- anyway, hopping to the next coverage- looking for clear marathon of Eliud Kipchoge
Agree. Either a complete fluke or a little PED help for Paula. Terrible running form. No economy of motion. Of course, she was a hometown girl and surely crowd support provided some extra energy.
Bekele ought to know by now, not to let the Kenyans get too big of a lead especially toward the end or last 3 to 5 km. It doesn't matter whether or not Bekele has WR track speed, if a Kenyan(s) are ahead at that point, it is almost a virtual impossibility that they will ever relinquish it.
No need of excuses. Why did get into the race with blisters? Everyone competing in that race was doing so cause he was at top form. No jokes for people with deformities of any shape or form
And the commentators were not as objective regarding Mary Keitanis amazing solo run over such long stretch after the only pace maker did a fine job and ran out of gas while the great Kenenisa Bekele had huge pace support. Well done to Mary Keitani!
The blatant favoritism and hate towards the leaders is insane, they sound so idiotic when they spend 2 hours rooting against the person who actually wins....
Gran batalla la del "viejete" Bekele al joven Wanjiru, increible; todavía le quedan varios maratones al "viejete" Bekele. Great battle the "old man" Bekele the young Wanjiru, incredible; He still has several marathons to the "old man" Bekele.
Se escribe "vejete"no "viejete"... Y no seas insolente.. ni te hagas el interesante... KENENISA BEKELE es de los mejores de todos los tiempos... Ha vencido en pista y en ruta a Mo Farah... A Elliud Kipchogue.. Y a su propio maestro.. Hellie Gebreselassie... Ubicarte es de gente bien...
He got a suspension for doping in 2020, when he ran the London Marathon in 2017 he should be good. The suspension has put all his events into a cloud of suspicion.
How do you say someone doesn't 'have the right' to run at a certain pace? Who are they to say? This isn't gymnastics or figure skating. Reputation is irrelevant.
I'm sorry, but a women's only record is a far better record than a mixed record. For the mixed you may go a bit faster, but you also have people holding your hand until the end.
Peace be to you all! Greetings from America! 😊🇺🇸✌🏾This was an AMAZING race and for a GREAT cause! Mental Illness is at the basis of why MANY patients don't get the care they need. Their conditions are not always readily identifiable and even if they are, many people suffering from mental illnesses don't don't have the support networks needed to ensure that they enroll and stay engaged in mental health care management programs.
One of those commentators could not be talking more negative on what Mary wanted to achieve, in terms of finishing time..He did not even cheer Mary for her effort, ONCE..constantly saying..look she is slowing down, bla bla bla...Typical British..!!
