Hello everyone! Today's video will be about the Malaysian-spec 2017 MINI Countryman five door crossover with the 2.0 litre B48A20 turbocharged petrol engine producing 189hp/192PS paired to an 8-speed sport automatic in the Cooper S trim.
Below is the list of current Countryman five door crossover variants available in Malaysia as of 1st May 2017. I arranged it from the cheapest to the most expensive.

Can't believe you left out the BEST part of those rear seats...the fact that they adjust forward and backward to give more storage room or more leg room as needed!!!

Thanks for watching! Nothing much different in the exterior design, but there are some minor interior changes such as a revised instrument cluster, revised heads-up display if equipped, addition of Apple CarPlay, touch screen compatibility for the larger display, etc.

So the ALL4 will come to Malaysia at later date? And can we customize it will panoramic roof, Harman Kardon speakers, Head Up Display, 8.8 inch touchscreen? When will the S E come to Malaysia?

Not sure. For now, it's only FWD. I'm not too sure, but I believe you can. However, you'd have to wait for a long time for the car and you also do have to pay a hefty premium. Not sure about the S E too.

alexlovesmac I see, how much more hefty is that? I think I will wait for the SE, it's a ALL4 drive and should be come with all the stuff I mentioned, but I'm not sure if head up display will come with it The touchscreen is a must, it's 2017 already and the outdated system and the small screen really not a full mini experiences and besides Apple CarPlay will come to MINI too but only the touchscreen system will work with it

I have no idea. I don't see why a touchscreen is important as the regular display works just as fine. If I had a choice, I'd rather have a car with just a basic radio or at most a display that uses a control knob. I believe Apple CarPlay should work on the display that doesn't have touchscreen function as I know Mercedes offers Apple CarPlay/Android Auto on the W213 E-Class and that doesn't have a touchscreen.

alexlovesmac yeah but the 6 inch screen has less feature and less pro navigation system Not saying I must need a touchscreen but TE 6 and 8 inch screen is not just the screen size different, but the system underneath also different, so I want the 8 inch touchscreen. Then Harman Kardon speakers, Head Up Display I also wanted

NETVO TV The 6.5" and 8.8" displays as far as I know are the same OS, just with different display sizes and some added functions on the bigger display such as split screen. Also they're not touch screens, just regular displays using the iDrive controls. H/k and HUD are nice additions, but I doubt they'll make it standard on Msian spec models.

it really depends on what you want. We had already decided on the X1, but over the weekend, we saw the Countryman, and both me and my wife love it. alot more fun than the X1...told my best pal about it, whose wife was also planning to get a X1....and after they saw it, changed her mind as well
