Since you asked, here goes. I have owned my 2006 SLK350 HARDTOP convertible for 13 years. For 4+ years I have been considering buying a different car, just for a change. I was down to considering the BMW Z4 M40i, but then my son (who drives a 911 having moved from a BMW M3) suggested the Porsche as being the better option. I am now convinced that the 718 Boxster S is my #1 choice, if I could just afford it. It will be a PDK with Mahogany steering wheel and dash, white w/black interior. I prefer the hardtop, but nobody save C8 makes a hardtop convertible. My hardtop looks better IMO, and I still get compliments on my 16 year old car every month. Due to cost, it will be 1-2 years before I can afford the newer car.

S Lee No. Base always had black calipers. S has red, and are larger

i thought PDK is better than manual because it switches gears much faster, and gives a better drive experience, is PDK over manual a personal preference, or are there real reasons to favor one over the other? Nice video though.

I drive a bmw520D and Renault Megane RS250Cup i would go for the Cayman GTS std Package in Miami Blue of the Bixster GTS std in Guard Red.

Go take a piss already stop moving. On another note I drove base model boxster last weekend for few hours and eventhou it handles decent and has acceptable amount of power it’s no where near what it should be considering the asking price. One redeeming aspect was that exhaust note in sport mode. Audio is absolutely autrocious in base form.

You know your car facts and many nuances quite well. But, and you heard it over and over, your not communicating well by dancing around non stop. It truly was nauseating and I had to stop watching before too long. Too bad. I suggest you consider a major shift in presentation approach.
