i have the outlaw on mine and dang does it sound good. i especially get a kick out of these kids with beecan sounding hondas pulling up next to me thinking im slow, that is until i rev a roar away lol
thanks for this upload, it FULLY convinced me to get to super 10 I currently have to 40 series and although it doesn't sound bad, I was something louder, along with all the mods to the motor i'll be doing soon, its going to sound even more Beastly!
Oh I bet that sounds amazing. I had a super 44 with the k&n high flow and in the cab I couldn’t tell which was louder LOL I just bought a 2013 ram and I’m definitely going to get another high flow but I might go with the super 10
Sounds great my man I got a 2005 Ram with a flowmaster 50 Muffler Flowmaster had a and a cold air intake and it sounds great I love to start it up bad to hear that roaring sound beautiful you are sound good to brother to all the RAM owners One Love
Sounds great, have it on my truck too but damn does the drone at highway/MDS really suck. Maybe I'm getting old now, but time to take it off I think. P.S - Cold starts are wicked and your neighbors will love you!
I have a 2015 Ram 1500 Big Horn I put the super 10 Flowmaster and a K&N cold air intake next thing is long tube headers and it does sound freaking awesome with the super 10's
There’s a slight drone … the owner still enjoys being the loudest on the street but isn’t a fan for long drives. All and all still happy.. sorry it took two years to reply lol
Just bought mine 30 min ago.....got the offset single to double....one side is totally unrestricted though . might make it stupid loud on the right side pipe , the left side has to go through a chamber.....
Hey bud you got a part num for that flowmaster? I got a 2017 ram 1500 sport night edition i want to make sure it fits mine too great vid and job by the way !
@@gassolean gotcha quick question does he still like it like is the super 10 obnoxiously loud ? Can he still have conversations in the cabin? Im looking to get it but i dont want the neighborhood to hate me lol and i want to be able to talk to my wife and kids while driving you know
@@victorortega2718 there's 4 dodges on his road with aftermarket exhaust his is the loudest you can easily talk in the cab its not that crazy... only super loud when you floor it
I have a 2018 RAM Sport Night Edition, wondering if you would prefer the 10 to the 40 or 44, I like the sound when you step on it but I do a ton of highway driving and need something that is a little more quiet at consistent 70 mph. Be curious to get your thoughts. Great video and thanks for sharing.
40 or 44 will sound the best and still be quiet enough for road use. Ride in a vehicle with a super 10 muffler. They are loud as hell inside the vehicle too
I have a quick question. I recently purchased what looks to be this exact same truck. When I went into the navigation system, it was everything around Ontario Canada. I live in Kansas. I bought it in Nebraska. Everything is identical to my truck except for the tires and of course, mine does not have the Flowmaster. Do you guys still own this truck?
i have 2017 reg cab with super 10 dumped before rear axel and have exhaust tips bolted on rear bumper but only for looks..no drone & exhaust sound all the time..b4 you take off shift down 1st gear shows then upshift all the way to 8..sound is always there.when you come to a stop 8 gear is shown..so when you take off it does all the shifting of the gears for you..and repeat when you put it in park though.
I have the super 44 on my ram I love it I think the 10 is a lil too loud for me the 44 is right below the 10 since it's pretty much a better version of the original 40
Ryan Chapman I wouldn’t recommend it, although it gives it a deeper growl, when accelerating at higher rpms it starts to have this can and rattle noise to the exhaust! Basically ruins a good exhaust system!
@@cnmontoastcrunch8957 big time thank you Ryan, I'm finishing up on a supercharged 350 for a '46 Chevy truck and I want that deep rich idle rumble. The 10's sound great but I saw all the comments about removing the resonators and with your post I now know not to
I have the exact truck. Sounds awesome man. How's the drown in the cab though? I was thinking about super 40's instead but not to far off from the 10's
Mac Willer It’s decently loud on the highway but it depends if you have your resonators in or not. I had the super 10 w/o and it sounded awesome. Towing was very very loud. The carven sounds much better imo. But if you want to stick with flowmaster the super 44 sounds great as well, very deep but I’d recommend you delete the resonators with it.
Got a question. By the way. That sounds pretty good. But was curious if The resonators are still on the exhaust. I had a 2010 with what I remember I think had a super 44 but the mechanic went ahead and removed the resonators as well to make it louder? Forgive me I’m not very knowledgeable as far as vehicles. Lol but I just bought a 2013 with very low miles and stock exhaust and I’m looking to perhaps get it Sounding as good as this
i didn't go into detail on how i should have but i put an extention on the single part of the mufller with a an angle cut peice to chane the inlet angle if you pause the video as im showing it under the truck you'll see the shiny stainless pipe.. thats what i extended
Hey I have a question hopefully you can help. By the way cool truck!!! I have a 2003 Chevy Tahoe with True dual exhaust and a x-pipe PLUS 2 separate Super 10 mufflers. With the x-pipe it sounds too smooth so I'm wondering if I would just take off the x-pipe but still keep it true duals and the two super 10s will my truck be louder? Thanks my friend
and get ready to open your wallet if it goes out. The electronic control module went out in mine. Its a dealer only part. $1600 for parts and $550 for labor.
How would you rate the super series mufflers from most aggressive to least? The super 10, 40 and 44. I’m thinking of getting the super 40 for my ram but I don’t want it to be overly loud
In my opinion the super 10 is a little too loud. I think personally the 44 and deleting the resonators sounds the best on the Ram. Or just deleting the muffler and keeping the resonators sounds awesome as well. Anyway good luck to you.
Also the 10 is alot louder inside the truck. Which is the deciding factor for me. I want it louder when I get on it but quieter when I'm just cruising on the highway or early mornings not pissing neighbors off too bad lol
I didnt purchase the muffler and not currently sure what shop rates are In your area but a rough guess would be anywhere from 450$-700$totally depends on the shop took me maybe 2 hours
Tanner Liscumb yeah it’s not a direct fit what you see in stainless in the video is what I had to add to the muffler to make it fit and also make the hangers
My girl keeps hiding my truck money....... I mean, I only put super 10's on my 5.9 magnum, 5.7 charger and I just want my 5.7 ram to not be left out...
when you put your flow master super 10 in , did you have to change anything else than what is in the video .? I'm getting ready to do mine on my 2015 ram 1500 and want to be sure I get it done right
I heard the same thing too I got a 2014 and I got the super tens it sounds good but I want to take the two resonators off the tailpipe they say it sounds even better
I have a 2003 dodge Ram🐝 single cab. Someone installed me 2 super 10 flowmasters and that shit doesn’t sound right. Your orange 2017 dodge Ram sounds way louder than mine. Idk why. Excuse my language.
basically like a train, that's the best way i can describe it ....just turn off mds by putting the manual gear setting on 8, and yes you have to do that EVERY time because the truck annoyingly defaults to mds every start.
Super 10 on ram hemi sounds good/throaty at lower rpm but very raspy/ high pitched at higher rpms. Sounds like garbage. Super 44 or 40 series are much more deep/ throatier
This is mango tango pearl or dodge rust it has been a mopar feature color for years I had a buddy in high school had the color on his dodge 1500 daytona.
