I love the sound of flowmaster exhaust I used to own a 1999 dodge ram 1500 with a 5.2l (318) and I put true dual flowmaster super 10 series under that truck and loved it !!!!
Sounds good man! I think after 1 year it definitely opened up a bit and sounds better in my opinion. I like the Super 10s because they sound a lot like glasspacks
I have a 64 Oldsmobile 98 and put a flowmastersuper 10 on this and single exhaust by the way.. working alot so .I run around the block a few times a week and seriously thank god it got louder as hell cause I wasn't happy....bought this beast In January and put super 10 last month so I believe yes it does as carbon builds up plus I us 30 straight racing oil as the previous owner broke it in as...so I'm actually going to change oil tomorrow morning . really don't want to as it's making the 10 sound awesome 👍 but it's working ..nice country roads you got ...peace ,joe
I've had my Super 10 on my 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 with the Hemi for 10 of the 12 years I've owed it. Same muffler but had the pipes repaired and replaced. The only way I can describe it is sinister, deep rumbles and when reved up and pops and crackles when it come down on the rpm. 4000 rpm over loads the decibel meter and at 7000 barks and snars like the hounds of hell when it shifts. Also a CAI will change the sound of everything, when I driver by people look fir a Challenger and old muscle car....... not third gen with over 200 000 miles on it.
@@mostills4017 totally depends on the setup you want to run and what brand you use. I have a super 40 muffler single pipe, costed about 240 after the install on my ram 1500
Wanting to change the exhaust on my ram 1500. Just how loud is the super 10? Is it wake up the neighbors kind of loud? Annoying loud? Or does it sound deeper in person than in the videos. I feel like videos don’t do it justice
RocknRoll4Ever 04 ya for some reason videos kind of make it sound high pitched almost. I want more of a low rumble kind of exhaust. The original 40 series judging by the videos sounds deeper than these.
I just put the super 10 on my 2017 1500 hemi sport. Its awesome but it seems like I need a new tune or something. At low RPMs it feels like it's choking or about to stall. Any idea what's going on?
I was told to manually put your truck in (2013 ram bighorn)6th gear and it turns off the eco. I've been driving like that for a day now and that choking noise is gone.
Dustin Hyman not sure exactly how much louder it is but it is louder. The 10 is going to be the loudest flowmaster available. It does have some drone, but I personally wouldn’t say it’s bad. I highway drive everyday and can listen to the radio and have a conversation perfectly fine
Thanks for this video man your ram sounds so badass. I have the 40 series and it’s just not quite loud enough. I’ve been very interested in the super 10s but idk of the drone would be miserable on the interior (I still have stock resonators). What do you think? I like to take long trips too.
I’m installing a super ten tomorrow from a stock. I’m nervous maybe it’s to loud. But I’ve seen a lot of comments like yours of people super they wish they had a super ten. So I went that way.
@@matthewbrown6067 it’s really good. It for sure is very loud. Maybe to loud. But now I love it so much and can’t imagine my truck sounding any different. It’s always possible I may switch to a full exhaust system but it won’t be quieter. My Hemi sounds like a roaring caged animal and I love it. Im about the hear it roar on start up in a few minutes. It rumbles my house when I do.
