I’ve had my 16 s60 t5 premier for a little over a month now. And I have to say it’s been one of the best cars I’ve ever driven! Seriously thinking about sticking with the brand
Mine is the s60 T6. R design. It's one of the best cars I've owned (I've had an Alfa and Maseratis too). It's turning circle is not great, and the break assist is a bit aggressive, but it's smooth and responsive around town, and on the highway. It overtakes like a dream! Would recommend to anyone.
My baby... I have this model. Purchased new and haven't had 1 issue!!! Dealer maintained. Highway mileage from NY to FL. 139k Had only 1 brake job. AWESOME car!!!!!!!!
I drive a 2012 S60 T5 got it a year ago it’s my first car and I love it!!!! I seriously want to stick with Volvos they are so nice! It’s massively underrated.
Ngl your points on the improvement over the standard S60 are off imo. The suspension is the same so it feels practically the same over bumps despite the fact that the rear wheel is pushed 3 inches back. Also understeer is the same as the rear wheels have little to nothing to do with understeer. Volvo purposely designs their vehicles to understeer for safety. This is coming from a guy who totaled a standard S60 and replaced it with an S60 inscription. The main advantages of the inscription are a longer wheelbase resulting in more leg room in the back, nicer rims, chrome trim, lights under the door for nighttime visibility when entering, and sun shades in the back. That is practically it. Anything else is a trim option that costs more money. I would opt for the sound system upgrade and the adaptive cruise control upgrade. That would cost over $2k extra on the used market.
