Damn 20,000 miles in 1.5 years. My 3 year old 2016 V60 Polestar has 28,000 miles. I haven't had a single issue with my Volvo. I have the old 6 speed Aisin transmissions and while the new 8 speed is much improved the 6 speed is built proof. I also have the inline 6 turbo not the newer 4 cylinders which I find kinda unrefined and the auto start/stop is just plain awful on these new engines. Glad to hear you still love your Volvo.
I have the technology package, but not the sport package. Interestingly, my transmission is very smooth and I have no turbo lag. I have the Inscription, so there is some extra leg room. Always enjoyable to drive, and as you mentioned, the seats are very comfortable.
I'm considering a 2017 S60 T5 Cross Country but I've been warned about their reliability scores dropping. Do you think it's unfair to say they're unreliable arrive they were acquired some years ago?
@@oysterstu4822 I don't really know, my car has been looked after by a Volvo dealer and no major problems yet. I think it depends on the mileage, like most cars.
Hello. I hope this message reaches you well. I’m thinking of buying a 2017 model just like yours that has 51,000k miles on it. After 5-6 years of driving of driving it and continuous maintenance, would you suggest it? I’m also thinking of maybe getting extended warranty but haven’t hearing about how bad those are 😅
@@ACCORDingtoTom I just test drove an s60 momentum. I'm coming from a gti. I'd highly recommend you check out gtis. The s60 felt a lot less engaging even with more power.
@@Venturi11 Yeah they are definitely different cars. The GTI is absolutely more sport tuned, the S60 is more towards luxury. I now have a 2020 S60 T6 R-Design with Polestar that I absolutely adore though! It's a huge step forward from my 2017 in every way.
Pardon me for being a dim wit idiot, I own a Volvo V40 CC and love the brand and therefore feel offended when cars are shown or presented and they are dirty. Yes, you did say that it's winter and it has been raining, but Dude respect the brand and your car. My family feels I love them less than my V40, I don't think so it's the joy I get from the shiny glint off a sparkling body work and tail pipe.😂
