Thank goodness for Mac Jones, or Bama wouldn't have had a healthy quarterback to finish this game. I vote Mac Jones the MVP of this game. Thank you Mac Jones! ROLL TIDE ANYWAY AND ALWAYS!
To address the elephant in the room: that block in the back wasn't; it was a bad call by the refs, I wish MSST had challenged it. The fact that a call _that bad_ was made taints 'bama's win. Give MSST that, though, and Bama still wins, just 24-7 instead of 24-0.
Well, that call the refs made in 2016, giving Ole Miss a touchdown that they didn't deserve because of a real block in the back, was a bad call as well, and Bama won that game too! We're all human, right?
@@brondenafanning9544 Sure. And the refs' work during the LSU game was horrible (once LSU realized they could hold with no penalty they were off the chain on holding - it was practically tackling, go watch a full replay), so maybe this was karma.
@@thedungeondelver And, don't forget about that overturned "targeting" call in that LSU game. I saw them throw Tony Brown out of the 2016 Auburn game for the same thing, right? That overturned "targeting" call wasn't karma for LSU last week, my friend, that was pure politics! And, Bama still won that game as well! ROLL TIDE ANYWAY AND ALWAYS!
First time they've done back-to-back shutouts of conference opponents since 1980. First time they've done it to AP ranked opponents since _1944_ . I could not, at a glance, find overall college football records for the same achievement.
@@thedungeondelver You're right, in 1944 they shut out #17 Tennessee in a 0-0 tie and then shut out their next ranked opponent, #16 Mississippi State (ironic) 19-0. Thanks for telling me. I think this is the first time they did it in consecutive weeks.
@@savagetigerfbfan6673 that’s not even remotely true…. Bear Bryant had 6 NC’s at Alabama while Bama was a dynasty in the 60’s and 70’s, winning his last two in ‘78 and ‘79. It would only take 13 more years after those until Gene Stallings would win a NC in ‘92. In the past century Bama has only not won a NC in the 50’s and 80’s. Bama has averaged a NC every 5.2 years for the last 100 years. C’mon…. learn some college football history. Geez.
@@louieo.blevinsmusic4197 you mean I should learn something by you claiming bullshit titles just so you can act like historically Bama is so much better than everyone else and so your fan base can just feel better? I think I’ll pass
უფალო შემიწყალე couldn’t agree more, LSU plays the toughest schedule every year even in 2019 they went 15-0 won the heisman SEC title and natty while winning 7 AP top 10 matchups includes defeating the AP preseason top 4 Geaux Tigers
@@savagetigerfbfan6673 Yes our schedule I'll admit is pretty damn easy compared to what Auburn, Florida, and LSU even Texas A&M had. Hopefully in the future, we can get some schedules like you guys👍🏾👍🏾
