Antonio Padrón at one point there was 2 other drivers i think they made a star shape to symbolise hamiltons 5 championships; i know sirotkin was one of them, sirtotkin best driver.
That cool down lap was really special. The 3 greats of an era together on track for the final time. Will for sure be one of the most iconic moments in this era of Formula 1
@@JohnDoe-ud3ue yes lovely, really hope we'll get that when kimi ends his career with champions of that time, we'll see if its just hamilton, kimi and vettel
At first i really thought this is just nothing but individual racing skill. There is so many factors involve to it, contracts, team, weather, influence, race track, positioning, money and money.
In the grand prix, where every team's effort can be seen. Whether for the best or for the worst, everything change in a matter of split second. And the 20 drivers are ought to give out their best with everything they got
So Kimi's only Wolrd Championship with Ferrari came in '07. Since his return to the Scuderia in 2014 he had the number 7. And in his last race for Ferrari he retires on the 7th lap. WOW.
@@DoorTechnicianRick Yeah, but him too. Hasn't out qualified Alonso once or had finished before him. If Max would have been in that car, he would have achieved a lot more and probably would have beaten Alonso as a teammate.
Really Sad to see Fernando go i am gonna miss him for. 1 funny team radios. 2 Amazing overtakes and wheel to wheel racing. But what a career he has had its so unlucky he didn't stay with Ferrari for 2015 onwards or we could have seen a different story in F1 today.😭
you guys think ur the smartest people still complaining about the halo firstly, it has been tested and proven that in most situations the halo doesnt make it too much harder to get out of a flipped car, they test this stuff secondly, without the halo we might have lost one or two drivers this year
'I'm hanging here like a cow!' How can Nico say something so brilliant after a scary accident like that? That is a treasure! Glad he was ok after that. I enjoyed that race. It was far better than I thought it was going to be. Fair play. Thanks for such a great season, all of you. :)
A detail I really, really appreciated is that the first thing Grosjean says after the incident is asking for Nico's status. Didn't care about who was to blame, or what went wrong first. Insane props to him.
@@hyperfuryxdbs6665 They just need to stop crashing. The halo impacts the balance, it's bad for visilibility, and it doesn't aid anything. Grosjean would've gotten out of the car easier without the device which would have maybe meant less severe burns.
TOP F1 HIGHLIGHTS 2018 That's raidillon actually Last name It was Ericsson's fault Hass puns Neowwwwwwwww $troll Wingman Silly season Daniel ricciardo DNF Vettel spins lap 1 Fernando & kimi team radio
Hulkenberg at the end of last season: out of race. Hulkenberg at the end of this season: out of an F1 seat. Poor guy, I do really feel bad for him especially after his amazing season last year.
@@Duval-In-The-Wall Yeah, although to be fair Sainz complained that he didn't feel comfortable with the Renault car until the second half of the season.
1:09 Now this is a story all about how a car got flipped, Turned upside down And i‘d like to take a minute, Just sit right there I‘ll tell you how Hulk became the flyin‘ german Of a track called Bel Air
What an incredible season. I love F1 so much. Congratulations to Lewis on all your achievements, I will really miss Daniel being on Red Bull, thank you Fernando for everything you did for the sport, and good luck on Sauber next season Kimi. 👏🏼🍾🏆
I am looking forward to seeing LeClerk in a really competitive car. He has been slowly improving this year, so let's hope there will be a big improvement. We might also hope that Ricciardo has learned from this season that he is not as good as he thinks he is. He is going to a car that isn't as good as the one he had this year, so he may want to stop talking about how good he is and just concentrate on driving. I also think we will hear a lot more about Verstappen next year. He is getting older and more mature, and his results have improved accordingly. Next year should be interesting to say the least.
@@davidedwards3361 Renault is investing a lot for 2019 and are making solid progress for next car I wouldnt call bad car straight away lets wait and see
One year ago today, Fernando Alonso completes his final ever race in F1, Kimi in his last for Ferrari, Ricciardo for Red Bull and Final entry for original Sauber F1 Team
finally got out that guy from F1...one of the most overrated Driver...always bringing the best Teams to the down..only it will work with F.Briatore with some special tricks, until they come out :)
@@u4always Agree, and what a hypocrite. Always complaining about how others race but he always ignores blue flags when it's Vettel or just pushes people off the track like with Palmer 2 years ago.
@@alexracing4180 agreed, but then again. A true racer would have refused to give the position. Something I appreciate Max for, saying NO. I miss that pure egocentric racing mentality with him that all Champions have. 2 years ago hamilton tried to push Rosberg into Vettel to win the Championship. Bottas has not got the mentality it takes to win it.
All he had to do was beat Ericsson..... The Alfa is a good car. If he was up against Wehrlein, THEN I would be impressed. I"m glad that stinker Marcus goes away. He's only there cuz of money.
This was my first formula 1 season. I'd like to thank the guys over at r/Amd and r/Ayymd, and Steve over at Hardware Unboxed for introducing me to this marvelous sport. I'd also like to thank Chain Bear F1 and WTF1, for making the sport more accessible to newcomers like me by making quality content, also thanks to Tiametmarduk for the career mode videos which made me understand the sport even more by viewing it from a driver's perspective(yes, it's a game, I know.) My only regret was that I didn't start following this sport sooner, missed out on so much of Kimi and Alonso.
ocon and alonso barely gained any position but were given 5 sec penalty, and bottas cuts the chicane, gains advantage on max and was not given any penalty... really?? i know any time penalty for bottas wouldn't have made a difference for him but still..
I could hear F1 racing from my home. I'm not joking. My family is always like "there they go again" the good thing is that it doesnt really last long 😂
Laps 8 & 9 - similar scenario to 2021 final grand prix with the opposite result and mercedes pitting as soon as the VSC was notified. How times flies and changes....
+Andrés Hernández - Come on, that's not fair. He's been in an atrocious car this year; all things being equal he would not be the worst driver on the grid, not remotely. He's outscored Hartley and Sirotkin over the course of the season, and when factoring in the quality of the car, Stroll pushed more performance out of that Williams than Ericsson did out of his Sauber or Bottas out of his Mercedes. Lance Stroll is a decidedly average driver on this current F1 grid, he's not the worst, and certainly not the worst ever.
Exactly, chaos is not what we want. It has to make SENSE and that rule is just super dumb and introduced to once again favor Mercedes. Thank you Federation Internationale AMG.....
@@alexanderkofoed9891 how can you hate Fernando? I'm a Vettel fan and not an Alonso fan for the reference but you just can't hate people like Alonso, similarly to Riccardo
@@datjoshguy1968 stop talking utter shite that McLaren was dog shit and you no it a rookie hamilton embarrassed alonso 2007 so he started blackmailing Dennis that is a cold hard fact. just look at Hamilton's Singapore qually lap this year that is all you need to see who the best driver is you tell me when has alonso ever done lap like that in his career never thats when
not so much really, he's still irresponsibly aggressive, when he passed ocon he purposely hit him, he was lucky neither of them got damage, pure racing also has to include respect for other drivers which he doesn't have but somehow feels HE deserves, he still has a lot of growing up to do
