Placed an order & bought one on Oct 1st 2018 in Vulcano Black Metallic w/ the Ti Sport AWD Package 22S Red Interior & Red Calipers. The dealer found a match and I picked it up on Oct 9th which is the first time I drove it & it is an absolute blast to drive. Mine sounds really good even when idling. It makes a robust sound and even a louder note when you drive using the Dynamic setting. I also did my due diligence in comparing different luxury crossovers - Jag, Porsche, Benz, Range, Audi, Volvo.BMW, Lexus, Infiniti, Acura and this is by far the best value for the buck and you won't be disappointed!

Great video Brian. I bought a Giulia Ti Sport as a daily and is one of my favorite cars I've ever owned.... Its perfection; I love the quirks and imperfections because they give the car so much personality in positive ways. As a car guy, I've always been a fan of Alfa admiring them from a far but now..... an official Alfisto. I traded in an A4, my 3rd one over the years, a good car, but so stale and lifeless in comparison. The Giulia is a beaut and gets my heart going every time I look at it and drive it. Its not about the specs and reviews.....

Thanks, Ket. I haven't driven the non-Quadrifoglio Giulia and in fact have another QV coming soon. The Stelvo in this review was great. Ate up the miles. Tons of character. Made a statement everywhere I went. Enjoy you Alfa!

Just bought one today! Absolutely love it, compared to the Jaq F Pace, Lexus, and Mercedes, this is fun, fast and sexy!

Hands down the best and most realistic review of this vehicle. Its a great looking car, definitely unique in look, handling and performance is geared to be super sporty! The wheelset in particular on the Ti Sport is got to be as good as any vehicle out there. Interior resembles the sportiness of the car.... somewhat of an 80's retro modern Italian look (the red interior is smokin'). Infotainment system can be cumbersome and a little time consuming at first. But you will forget about all that as soon as you step on the gas and drive this thing. Take it from me....I bought one.

Only the F Pace comes near to this beauty regarding all rounder winner... driving fun , excitement and pleasure is reserved for Stelvio among all SUVs... IMO.... Great review and reviewer...

Great review! I’m cross shopping a used TI Sport against a used gla45. Thoughts? I know the GLA is a totally different level of performance, but I frankly don’t need that, as much as it would be fun. The Stelvio is rwd based, which is a huge dynamic advantage. I wish the stelvio’s engine was a bit more exciting, but that can be aided with an exhaust. Something about the Stelvio has me wanting it more than the Merc...

If you're considering used, go in with eyes wide open. I'd check on long term reliability for both before making a decision. And get a good warranty. Dynamically, the Stelvio is much more engaging than a GLA and bigger, as well. Stelvio is much more interesting to me, certainly more attractive and distinctive.

@@BrianMakse Thanks! Great to get your perspective. I have a feeling that the Stelvio is just more unique for the mundane day to day of life, even compared to the 45. And thanks, I know there are potential reliability issues with both. It seems like so far the 2.0t Giulia and Stelvio models have proven pretty resilient, but warranty would be nice peace of mind in any case.

Great review! How do you think it compares to the F-Pace? I know it’s a bit bigger, but I feel like I’m between the two.. albeit a slightly older FPace with the SC V6. Thanks!

Thanks! Great question! Recently tested an F Pace. These two are some of the most interesting SUVs at the moment. Both are stylish and competent, but the Jag is undoubtedly one rung above the Alfa in every way.

I have been planning on getting a Stelvio or Giulia when my current lease('16 vw tiguan se 4motion) is up. The lease numbers aren't the greatest at the moment due to it being so new, but I might be able to find a better deal soon.

Can it be a person's last new car purchase and give 10 to 15 years or 200,000 miles of trouble free service? Not including normal maintenance and repairs....brakes etc.

I love Alfas in general, and the Stelvio in its category seems to be the best regarding handling and performance, just like an Alfa should be, BUT the design is a big missed opportunity, was the exterior designed in 1994 or what?
