Thank you, Robert, much appreciated. It has taken me a while to get a feel for the cars, recognise the differences, the ups, the downs. I didn't want to be a newbie who just trashes the car reviews, especially being self-taught. Today, I am a lot more confident to give me opinion and I am not afraid to say it out loud. At the initial stage, it was also politics, brands want you to continually play nice but I will always be honest in my reviews. It's just a principle for me and a sense of integrity.

This is an antiquated thought. Alfas of old are a completely different breed. Pure sport, designed with racing DNA and engineering. Think de dion read ends, 4 wheel discs, all alloy engines etc. the new Alfa Giulia and Stelvio are modern cars that you can buy with common sense. This reviewer is biased and honestly speaks like a woman not a car reviewer. I own this car and it’s a great family hauler that’s in line with Audi, BMW and the like.

Man, I have a 19 sport. I can tell you they might as well not even put an infotainment system in the car - it's awful. Mine has navigation in it - took me 10 minutes to even enter a destination - felt like I was in 2001.

My NEW STELVIO is just Amazing to Drive nimble quick and easy to Maneuver, I'm still learning all the awesome features an getting to know the ones I didn't even realize I had, SUCH a Cool Ride mine is Volcano black metallic with Red leather interior, Yes it's Beautiful I'm so HAPPY, I looked at the BMW AUDI MBenz an Lexus and was not impressed at all then I saw the Alfa Romeo STELVIO an was Sold right away NOTHING out there compares to that STELVIO Yes I'm a HAPPY OWNER, VERY WELL PLEASED.

@@tshawn1231 I got last summer my second stelvio. The first one was a MY2019 Diesel 210 HP on which I did 90k miles with no issues. Now I got a MY2020 veloce, same engine but better handling thanks to stiffer suspension and bigger wheels. I didn’t regret my choice even one second. Being a company car I had to wait for it, due to Covid and had to drive a BMW X2. I know it’s a lower class model, but I didn’t find at all all those features people are so mad about. Handling doesn’t even come close, fuel economy? Average. Planted on the road? Forget i. I was concerned in every fast turn on motorways as the car was quite wobbly. Sun visors without a light. Flimsy plastics on the dashboard. Unreliable Bluetooth connection with my iPhone. No radio station search from the steering wheel, only form the nob in the center tunnel. I could go on for more. Stelvio is perfect ? No, there’s still room for improvements, but the BMW is even worse. No German perfection! One blame on FCA. I don’t know what it’s like in US but here many dealers are still doing a poor job at promoting these fantastic cars. Audi does much better for sure. And this hurts the sales.

​@@paulmcgee1867 Brakes need some get used to for some drivers because it's a fly-by-wire system by Continental. So, it's more the pedal position and not the force applied that determines how much it will break. ...and it breaks very well because the mechanical parts are from Brembo with one piston for the rear and two pistons in the front calipers.

You are welcome Anna! Yes, of course it is with this car but with a motor from From Portofolio that you removed two cydlinders on, then things happen. Those who have driven Giulia quadrifoglio as well as Stelvio quadrifoglio prefer the latter to give you the thumbs up and support you.

That was mine opinion too before. The problem for me is as I wanted the stelvio for a daily car, I drive 70k km per year. So I chose the strongest diesel with some chip tuning by squadra Netherlands. It's also a wonderful engine I have to say. Of course not a qv but still plenty of joy in it!

I really hope so, Andrew. They do have quite a bit of work to do, but I think once these have been addressed, this will be a very strong competitor. At the moment, many avoid purchasing, it's just a little bit too awake in an awkward way

@@AnnaOnRoads I don't know what your expertise is but my Stelvio is a great car ! Brakes, not a problem for me, smooth braking; transmission .... great, shifts are quick and hardly noticable.
