2018 BMW 430i Convertible in Snapper Rocks Blue Metallic. New color for 2018! Cognac Dakota Leather is a new interior for the 2018 model year. It replaced Saddle Brown Leather. This 430i is upgraded with the optional 19 inch Bi-color Orbit Grey wheels style 407. 0 to 60 MPH in 6 seconds. Not a bad Exhaust Sound for a 4 cylinder. The B46 engine has 248 HP & 258 in Torque. Snapper Rocks is a place in Queensland, Australia. I'm assuming they called the colors the Snapper Rocks Blue Metallic because it matches the color of the water at Snapper Rocks, Australia.

Good to see trish back. Fans will be happy. Car is nice, but have to say I don't understand the black grills when there's so micheal chrome elsewhere on the car. Cognac Interior is lush.

@Scott: Do convertibles like this one come with a rain sensor? So that when it rains while its parked, and the top is down, that it will automatically put the top up again? I know it doesn't rain very often in Cali, but just in case it would be a nice feature to prevent your car from becoming a bathtub :)

For the love of god Scott please tell Rusnak to stop drilling the front bumpers of brand new cars to put on the front license plate mount. I bought a car sold by Rusnak and it has 4 holes drilled into the front bumper, 4!!! Do what other dealerships do and leave it up to the owner if they want to have you drill 4 holes into the body of their new BMW

prices in USA are nice.... less then 60k Bucks. in EU it would be more then 60k euros....

Starting price is 63k euros for this model in The Netherlands (without any options), that translates to 74k dollars. So that's already 14.5k dollars over the MSRP in the video... damn. Sales tax is 21% instead of 7-8% in California? By the way, the car is built in our neighboring country of Germany, and can be driven from factory to NL instead of shipping it over an ocean.

I don't know why but BMW names some of their signature colors after race tracks. It seems that their flashier blues of each generation are named after race tracks that are near oceans. Laguna Seca Blue, Snapper Rocks Blue, Estoril Blue.

Snapper Rocks is a small rocky outcrop on the northern side of Point Danger at the southern end of Rainbow Bay on the Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia. It is a famous surf break and today the start of the large sand bank known to surfers as the Superbank.

JAMES MARK Super timely response, I know, but yeah this color is NOTHING like Estoril Blue. This color has a depth to it like green is hiding beneath the surface that Estoril Blue lacks. I can see why you would think that however as I've yet to see a camera(this video included) that can accurately capture Snapper Rocks. It's a beautiful color. If I ever were in a position to consider a 440i, it'd be a no-brainer. Really good to see BMW embracing this thing called COLOR in the US market!
