I like this guy. I like him when he compliments things in a funny way. both goos and bad. keep up the car jokes faam. much love from Lesotho. anyway that bmw is fireeeeeeeeeee
You are so right about bmw interiors. Up until about 3 years ago, BMWs used the same style gauges for about 25 years. BMW was also very late when it came to finished proper looking brake calipers.
Eu sempre gostei mais dos carros da Mercedes, mas neste duelo eu com certeza escolheria o BMW. A mistura perfeita de conforto e esportividade! Um abraço de Moçambique!
Really need to be a fan of a BMW to like it. For me, well there are many other options out there. I had too many reliability issues with BMW to go back. And I love the virtual cockpit of Audi.
Like your reviews. Let’s address the elephant in the room. When are we putting the GLC300 d directly against the bmw 50d for a real world comparison. That’s what we all want to see
Hey Ciro, did you see the new BMW X3 xDrive20d Mzansi Edition? Anyhow, something is not adding up on your channel, you had a video comparing both this silver x3 with a silver glc but the video seem to have somehow disappeared.🤔
Whenever a BMW model ties with a Mercedes in price and specs, go for the Mercedes. BMW updates their models faster down the road, so your Mercedes will keep fresh for one or two years more than the beemer ;)
I'm more concerned about the big price tag than the big BMW nostrils! If an X3 cost R1 million+ I don't want to see how much an X5 costs in SA! It can't be too long till every BMW in SA is a R1 million+! Back to the big nostrils, I'm going to take a guess that these big nostrils might be a the last hurrah of functional BMW nostrils as BMW integrates more electric vehicle technology into its cars and eventually replaces the majority of petrol and diesel vehicles with pure electric or REX versions.
I have a GLC350d and seeing this BMW just reassures me that I made the right decision. The Merc is better looking in every way even though there aren't digital dials yet but should get when facelifted (Hinted from the facelight of the C Class). And to answer any questions regarding GTI's, pop the Benz into Sport + at the robot and a GTI is yet to beat me... It would be great to review the X3 3l diesel head to head with the Merc GLC 350d. 0.4 seconds boils down to who is sharper at the robot...
GLC is built so cheaply unfortunately. So many cheap plastics everywhere. It's a joke. COMAND may as well be based on software from early 2000. So clunky and user unfriendly.
Ahmed Moosaji while I'm also surprised by a R1 million+ BMW X3 I know very well that anything is only worth what people are prepared to pay. BMW is quite good at making cars that a lot of people are prepared to pay a premium for and from the looks of it BMW won't have a hard time selling this rather good looking product.
non sense comment, for performance, tech , materials and practicality ratio, the price is not expensive, with the design, wow, its spot on. reviewers make the mistake all the time to talk of german cars as if you need to buy the most expensive one, with all the bells and whistles so they make it look expensive. there are equally good cheaper versions, theres no need to tick all the boxes
So slow.....the new Honda CR-V is faster and cheaper:Crv takes 7.0 seconds from 0-100 on the 1.5t variant and the X3 takes over 8 seconds from 0-100...What a Shame!!!!
coladuna did u not do research on the 1.5t variant coz i wrote 1.5t ...the x3 has a 2.0 twin turbo but the crv has a 1.5 turbo only and it is still faster
Naeem Muhammad I think it is you who needs to do proper research. CRV with 1.5L turbo engine does not to 0-100km/h in 7s. Period. CarAdvice quotes 9.9s and performancedrive.com.au quote 8.15s for FWD and 8.5s for the AWD versions. Please enlighten us as to where you are seeing 7s LOL
BMW's interiors still look the same. It looks boring and dated. Might as well be a 1 series in there. No distinguishing features between models. The interior needs major updating. They've fallen way behind.
I work at the BMW plant in South Carolina that makes these and can tell you that their a piece of crap. Consumers wouldn't understand the quick fixes we do on those cars.
If I'm not mistaken SA lost the high volume 3 series and inherited the X3 or one of the BMW X vehicles. I would be happy owning a BMW South Africa built BMW.
Lehlogonolo Maringa LoL no challange on a straight six 3 litre engine... The GTI have a 2 litre 4 cylinder - So the GTI is the more effective wonder. Mind you theres the Golf R with same engine as GTI, that squashes this car with a 0-60 on 4.6 Seconds... & its insane to tune.. People have gotten 0-60 times as insane as 3.5 seconds... Bye bye BMW's... Lol ;)
Lehlogonolo Maringa you are right man. Might be that the torque as it makes 620 NM compared to 350NM. But yeah I guess the panty droppers should be alarmed when they see this one. But an X3 at a mil yikes
