Since then, I've owned a Yeti SB150, Santa Cruz Hightower, and - I have to say - the Jekyll was - without question - the most snappy, poppy, jazzy wild bike. It was just WILD! Plowed through everything yet so precise and agile. I miss it! May just pick up the newest model.

OMG are you in Regina?? I'm planning on buying this bike in XL tomorrow from Western Cycle! Could you let me know the things you like about this bike and what you don't like. Also do you think an XL would be ok for me as I am 6'0"?

Hey man, that's awesome. This is a pretty amazing bike, I'm not super knowledgable on this one as I haven't ridden one in over two years. To be honest Dane knows his stuff. I do know the bikes fit small so an XL shouldn't be out of your realm for sizing. Pick his brain, and some of the other guys In the shop. Regardless, you can't go wrong as this is a pretty awesome bike. Thanks for watching!

Land of Bikes Thanks a ton for the feedback! Really appreciate it! One last last question, do you remember how the suspension felt? Was it nice and plush?

@@YoNeilBiking Sorry, I never rode it enough. I've been on a lot of bikes since then. Yes two take it for a ride yourself. I know it's quite tune-able, so it may take time to dial in, but the guys who ere riding it loved it. I was on a top fuel and proclaimer at the time mostly as I was XC racing.

I have this bike - new MTBer - but so far - it has been such an amazing bike! On DH - this bike just eats up the terrain like Pac-man! Just absorbs everything with such ease! Very nimble and playful! Gives you the feel of being "creative" with your ride.

I'm just small time dude, I can only shoot what I can get my hands on.. Maybe Cdale will send me one... :)

Small time dude. Hmph. That old Canadian humility. I'm telling you right now the visuals, editing, and sound are off the charts. I'm going out on a limb and saying that aspect is as good as anything of its ilk on the Internet. I teach presentation skills, and if you added a bit of sheen to that, I'd push this far and wide. You should easily have 100k subs. Hello, Cannondale?

Question for anyone out there that has experience with this bike: WHAT SIZE FRAME ARE YOU RIDING, AND WHAT IS YOUR HEIGHT? I'm 6'0" and I recently took a Large on a quick street ride (not a trail demo) outside my LBS. I was shocked how cramped it felt in the cockpit. I was 98% sold on buying the Jekyll 1, but this has given me pause. Seems weird to consider going with an XL given my heigh, but stranger things have been done. I think part of the "problem" comes from the 35mm stem and the 9 degree back sweep on the bars (which I really did not like). One other review I found talks about this same thing, and they recommend nobody over 5'8" ride a Medium. That review can be found here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-3raHPstezdk.html Can anyone out there help? I'm still considering buying the bike and maybe putting a 50mm stem (I'd prefer not to) and a straighter bar on it. Or maybe I need to demo the XL!? Thanks!

I am 5'11" and I found the L ridable but a bit cramped. It's how most of these longer travel bikes are feeling, slacker gemoetry, short stems, it's tough to determin frame sizes these days. I am slowly getting used to the shorter reach, it allows me to hang over the back end more and control the bike better on the downhills. Maybe you are just used to a long bike...
