While doing this I broker the clip you had a hard time removing where it Ts, how do you replace the clip or what is that line called? I can’t find any info about it
Absolutely agree, sometimes it’s very difficult getting my hands and the camera into tight areas. The next one I do I will record it and show an example of removing that clip with everything disconnected to have more room.
my durango had the code 0456 and i replace the exact part but the fuel vapor retainer clip broke and now it has a 455 code with 456 code would that be the cost of the codes and i order the retainer clip can i reset the codes by unplugging the battery and plugging it back in? my is a durango 2016
If its not connected completely it can cause those codes. You can try to disconnect the battery , sometimes it can reset the codes. Usually when you have a large and small leak its the (esim) evaporative emissions integrity module has failed. I would repair the clip and clear the codes first before replacing parts.
Hey l have the same issue po456 and changed the part . My clip broke and can seem to found it in any store . Do u know where can l get those write clip
Those are generally secondary securing clips. Only if its the secondary and the primary one is still working ( the line wont come off) you should be fine. Just make sure the line wont come off when pulled on.
I have the same engine light code p0456 and replace the same part . the write clip went to auto zone and dodge dealership to get a new clip but but they don't have it . My question is ,Do u know where to get those exact clip ?
I would be very careful, those are gasoline vapors and can ignite. Before trying that I would remove it from the vehicle and blow air through it. You could use a piece of hose and two hose clamps if needed. The pipe I think is like $40-$60 at the dealer.
