I do that sometimes but for this demonstration it was slow and steady. and someone said I was lazy for not shoveling the driveway... When actually in real life the guy I pay to mow the yard and shovel the driveway had not arrived yet so it was the perfect opportunity to demonstrate this particular concept... ppl crack me up.
Ive pulled cars out of snowbanks highcentered with my F-150. The truck was in over a foot of powder and it got them unstuck. Of course there car was mangled after hitting a snowberm at 50mph. Nothing beat a F-150 in the snow.
@@dougalonation1570 From the video it looks like you got a 4x4 so you don't have to plow, snow throw or shovel. You back out what looks like the middle of the day then drive into the garage at night yet no snow is removed! You might have trouble if you allow it to freeze solid that way, even with a 4x4. Also as I mentioned, it's wise to back into the garage when snow is forecast.
The point of the video was to demonstrate how 4 wheel drive can slowly knock down and drive-through a snowbank... Not really sure why so many people are having trouble understanding the fundamental point of the demonstration lol The video is not about showing 2 wheel Drive mode and it's not about me avoiding shoveling the driveway. It is literally a demonstration of 4 wheel drive versus a snowbank. That's like me showing you how fast my John Deere can mow one acre and then people pretend the video is actually about why my grass is not perfectly green in all areas... Yeah so actually the video was about timing the speed and deck with of the John Deere lawn mower lol it's actually not about the color of the grass.
0:11 wouldn't a snowblower have been cheaper? Nothing like just driving over the snow instead of cleaning it out of the way so you don't have a giant mess to contend with for weeks or months. Or just F it don't want to do some work.
