R.I.P. First Man Our predictions for the nominations. Now doubles as a cringe compilation: • 2018 Golden Globe Nomi... Subscribe if you want the same thing but with the Critics Choice next week.
It's worth noting that most of our reactions are based on our expectations. For example, I am pissed about the First Man snub, but I wasn't predicting it, so I didn't react that way.
Yeah I think it could even win some awards like editing and sound. But as far as picture, actor, director, and screenplay go, I think it's pretty dead.
Lol you both are so off point, BR was a really good movie, did you even see it & oh yeah Rami Malek is gonna win for his performance as Freddie Mercury, all the other roles could be played by any actor, what Rami did with this transformation into Freddie could not be done by even 1% of Hollywood..
I haven't seen it but considering the critic reviews it is very surprising. I know most audiences really enjoy it though. I think Christian Bale and Bradley Cooper have better shots at winning and your statement "all the other roles could be played by any actor" is pretty ridiculous especially considering Bale is playing Dick Cheney.
@@TheOscarExpert you two punks have no idea wtf is going on, malek is winning GG, SAG, BAFTA and the oscar easily, why don't you shut the hell up and record me four sweet vids with your reactions to malek's acceptance speeches at the four events
@@PretentiousStuff I'm not upset about Malek getting nominated or winning. If he wins the globe for drama actor, that's fine with me. I think he could indeed win the Globe but it's a close race between him and Bradley Cooper. I think you're ignoring the fact that it is in no way in the bag for him. He doesn't have to compete with Christian Fucking Bale at the Globes, who very well may win the Oscar (nor is he competing with Viggo). The fact is that Bohemian Rhapsody has mediocre critic reviews, and those kind of reviews don't normally win major Oscars. If you look at the awards currently given out, Christian Bale, Ethan Hawke, and Viggo Mortensen have won more awards than Malek. Plus, on Gold Derby, generally a very accurate predictor of the Oscars, Malek is at #4 currently. I actually do know what I'm talking about because my opinion is informed by evaluating the evidence rather than chanting RAMI RAMI RAMI cause you liked the movie. I'm glad you like him and you can root for him to win but you don't always get what you want.
@@fmamamaba1460 I didn't judge it. I have nothing to do with the Oscars so it really doesn't matter if I see it or not. I thought Roma was overrated but I still think it's winning best picture cause it doesn't matter what I think.
