Nice review on this beautiful motorcycle. I am surprised you bought it since you are 6'-2" and 250 lbs. That must have been really uncomfortable for you. I am 5'-9" and 190 lbs and it barely feels acceptable to me. I am guessing I really am on the high end for suggested height for this bike. I love this bike and I think it is beautiful. I think the engine is powerful enough to have fun on and the suspension and lean angle allow it to on twisty roads. The brakes do a wonderful job as well. But like you said, the ergonomics are not good and that has been a deal breaker for many people, especially for taller riders. I hope you are doing well and still riding.
I’ve been riding the street rod for a couple months now, how I would put it is it feels kinda like a heavier super moto along with a sportier feel. Weird to word it but I do like the bike despite me being 6’2
I also added the Vance and Hines slip on. I get a lot of decel pop. Thinking about having ecm retuned to run less lean. Did you have to do this? I have same bike
The thing that is keeping me from purchasing this bike is the ergonomics. Why the Right foot placement is different between the Street and the Street Rod 750 is beyond me. It’s more or less the same bike? If HD can fix that and make finding Neutral easier, they would probably sell more Street series bikes.
irvan36mm how tall are you, I just traded it in myself cause I couldn’t take it anymore cause of the ergonomics, loved the ride on the bike but hated how my hips felt, if your tall at all I would go another route, I ended up getting the xsr900 from Yamaha
