Just Installed a new Vance @ Hines Exhaust on my new Harley Davidson Street Rod 750. Gee what a massive difference. The model number for this exhaust is #V47943.
The bike is actually enjoyable to ride. I have a few Harleys now if you seen my latest video, and the street Rod is far more comfortable that it’s big brother.
@@JustAnotherReviewwithAlek UK, as is the retailer I purchased it from but they had to order it from Germany. I got a great price though, £280 shipped.
You might want to get the Vance & Hines db killer 21841? I just watched/heard a RU-vid video of your pipe with one fitted. This bike seems ideal for me. Drool.
After installation,I noticed a slight exhaust leak at the clamp as the muffler diameter is a bit bigger than that of exhaust pipe.I have used the clamp provided by Vance and hines and made sure that the clamp sits over the relief cuts but still they are not at the very edge. Will doing so compress the cuts for a better seal ?Thanks for the upload ,i made my mind after watching your video.🙏
Happy the video helped you. I’m not a big channel but feedback like this is great. Thank u. Once this COVID-19 is over I’m getting this Street Rod turned into a cafe racer like no other.
Alek & Mj's Reviews Its a great bike ! I am planning on adding new rage cycles fender eliminator for a more aggressive look and vance and hines fp3 autotuner. That new rage fender eliminator really enhances the bike’s rear profile 👍
Hey mate. Some people when they do reviews get done up. I’m just simple bro. Nothing fancy. I just try to help everyone.... there slippers from a sheep arse.. lol Thanks mate
Hey, no you don’t. You only need to add a tuner/stage 1 if you upgrade exhaust and air filter. Not slip ons. I’ve bought a new bike the other week and I purposely asked again the same question as I wanted to buy a new exhaust. They said all good. Only time u need to tune is 1- full exhaust or 2- air filter
Nice review man!! Just to add a bit of info, it's always recommended to tune your bike after you add even a slip on system. With a modern computerized emissions system, it messes with the stock ECU fueling curve when your bike can breathe out alot quicker than with the stock muffler. Your ECU will actually start leaning out the injector pulse width and a host of other timing related items once it gets to opperating temp if you don't recalibrate. You can actually loose power and the bike might run warmer. Just a thought for you bro. Nice bike though, had one also, a lot of fun!!!
Ummm You're an Aussie ... they're called Spanners mate .. Americans call them wrenches.. lol .. I've got Vance and Hines BIG RADIUS 2-INTO-2 on my custom chopper and they sound great.. Yours made such a big difference in the bikes sound .. I bet you are Stoked ... They sound sooo much better and you would of gained a lil bit more HP on the back wheel as well.. Enjoy mate..
Sounded like a HONDA with stock... HONDA Accord LML :-P Damn, that's so much more meaty now with the V&H :))) Now, I hope those brown boots and leg wasn't you LML :-P I hope you don't go from LOCKDOWN to LOCKED-UP upsetting your neighbourhood with that last look on your face LML :-P Great video, and what a huge difference... Pipes saves lives!!! I'm so longing to ride!!!
Gday buddy. Yeah it’s a huge difference one little pipe does. Right now Melbourne is not only in lockdown but stuck in the house! It’s pouring rain here for next 5 days. So no riding
@@JustAnotherReviewwithAlek It makes the bike feel more alive... every bike I've owned the stock pipes are removed... I was lucky to have a pipe made for my HONDA RD03 as these have nothing but the original if you're lucky... mine rotted so was getting desperate, but glad that the guys at GPR Racing Italy found a solution and made me a pipe to match... from that they sold a few so was worth the effort... short and stubby but more importantly throaty and sounds like a proper V-Twin :) I like the style of your 750, much improvement over the Sportster that just looks bottom end... can I ask will you do a video on that LED headlight bulb, as I was looking at those but not sure... I've got a 3000k HID fitted to my Kawasaki, but the Hi-Beam is never great as I have to use the other headlight with a halogen so I have instant light. Stop looking outside and think how many times it really rains compared to Paris... that'll make you a happy bunny :))
The competition series from V&H sounds even better than this one on the street rod .. I would advise anyone to go with that instead of the one in the video
Alek & Mj's Reviews I believe the muffler you have is called “Hi-Output Slip-On”. The other one is called “Competition Series Slip-On” and is more triangular in shape
Almost sounds like a Harley but not quite. I watched the video because I saw vans and Hines I used the brand on my GSXR 750 and on my Dyna super glide only my super glide is 100% intake and exhaust Vance & Hines.
