Took a Test Drive recently , Cars Gear Box and clutch are Butter and are gem to operate in city conditions but low steering position can bother taller drivers and power is lacking when you try to accelerate in open road

Couple of days I made a trip to Sholingur from Bangalore. Excellent experience once you master your right leg. I was doing 140 for almost 60℅time. Milage probably was around 17kpl

I really love the santro and I realised that India loves it too, in Pakistani Kashmir there is a point where the kishenganga / neelum river becomes the line of control separating India and Pakistan, even there I saw a guy driving a santro xing, I was In a santro club, and It was truly enthralling to see , santros on both sides of the border,

Hats off to Hyundai, coz most of them companies are going with 3 cylinder engine which are fuel efficient but high on NVH in this segment.

Hyundai is always good due to their ssuper ride quality and good built..but in new santro, they have also used high tensile steel first time similar to maruti.. So it can be a -ve from hyundai's build quality perspective. It will be better than celerio, wagonR but i believe tiago will win clearly against santro.

Deepak Mittal 63%of the new santro is build with HSS+AHSS making the car lighter and stronger and safer. No car in this segment offers this kind of a built.

kamal choudhury it's not a myth. It's a reality. Carbon build is the strongest build and yet the highest. BMW i8 has carbon built. And Bmw 7series outer structure is built of carbon. The higher you go the stronger and lighter the car becomes. Things start with mild steel to carbon the lightest and strongest.

Last time I checked Tiago still demands 2 services/year which is a pain. I think most Tata cars do. Hyundai only needs 1 service/year. I think even Suzuki asks 1 service/year.

I took tiago XZA instead of waiting for santro!!!! Top end Amt in santro has no passenger airbag, no seat height adjustment, no adjustable front head rest..... Its a foolish decision by hyundai

Hyundai should have put chrome finished logo on the steering wheel. No one would praise Hyundai for going with a chrome plated logo but everyone will criticise the plastic one(including me). it is a small piece and its not like they have to build it specially for this car they could have borrowed that part from other models that they produce. It is going to be an eyesore and it is always in front of the driver. Come On Hyundai please do this before release!!!!!!

With cost cutting Hyundai has cut Dual air bags which is only available with top Astra model. They would have provided with Sports model and as option with lower ones.

Nope, no Alloys wheels in any varient even on top spec Asta model. Also no streeting height adjustment no driver steat height adjustment no cooled glove box in any varient. For Santro Sports AMT you don't even get a passenger side air bag even as an option.

Well it's a great launch by Hyundai, with petrol, AMT and CNG options. But somehow Hyundai is not prepared over deliveries of CNG variants. The CNG vehicles are not yet available in market. I made the booking on 10 th October standing on 2,444 the number and 2nd at dealership (22 days before official launch) But somehow, they failed to update CNG deliveries in festival time.. Have been following up with sales team ..but even they are not coordinating properly.. Sad, but somehow Hyundai spoiled my festive excitement inspite of early booking... Duh..!!

Marutisuzuki is the best. Best service, good resale value..Hyundai models are fancy, but service is the worst. I am saying this because I own a Hyundai i10. Next time I will go for maruti..

Took an test drive of amt , an normal slope in an signal the car moves reverse from the break which should happen. I cancelled my booking for the overpriced nearly 6.40 for an amt , and the quality compared to grand i10 is inferior. The car is priced so high for an small hatch back which even the dealer agreed.

Hyundai Santro 2018 can't beat Maruti Suzuki WagonR 2018 in features and comfort. Maruti Suzuki WagonR VXi 2018 is the budget and value for money car.Actually WagonR is the Real tall boy car. R.I.P Hyundai Santro 2018.

Whoaa... that rear space !! Its huuuuge. What were Hyundai guys drinking (or smoking) when the chalked the rear space in the latest Verna? That car can coolly add 2-2.5 k volumes to its current numbers had it been spacious in the rear. Infact, Instead of offering us Elantra, Hyundai can offer us specially designed LWB version of Verna alone. Just as its the case with India Grand i10 and standard global current i10 . A significantly spruced up LWB Verna can give lots more profits, volumes and overall economies to Hyundai.

Hyundai cheating Indians by giving features. It won’t last long n poor mileage especially the steel quality is too worse and two of my earlier cars from hyundai were badly rusted none of my other brand cars suffer such bad rust

Santro Xing used to have 62.1hp @ 5500rpm and 96.1nm of torque @ 3000rpm. The new Santro has an increase of 6 more horses and 3nm more of torque. So the total output comes around 68bhp @5500 rpm and 99nm of torque @ 4500 rpm.
