Indian has a lower center of gravity and is by far a great design of a bike. Harley is just heavy lunky to stand up. 2 klm is from safety checks. I have the roadmaster but without the great upgrades, you have. sounds awesome. ride safely up there and enjoy it.
Just got a new Roadmaster in Montreal and brought it home to Ottawa, Like you, Im waiting for the snow and salt to wash away so I can take her out on our first ride. I traded 2 Harleys for it. I also went with the mid rise bars, stage 1 A/C, Jekill & Hyde exhaust an the stage 2 cams and of course the 7 year warranty. Cant wait for riding season. Thanks for posting the vid.
I have 2017 Chieftan black and red...stage 2 cams, air cleaner, & exhaust, mid-rise bars, touring pig, and speakers in the lids... wow! Living in Florida it is year round riding...though liquid cooled engine would be good for summer!
Congrats! GORGEOUS BIKE!!!! I just bought a new 2018 Indian Chieftain Elite in Panama City Beach. This is my first Indian.... trading my 2014 Victory Cross Country (loved that bike....but when I saw the Elite.... I had to upgrade) I am having the stage 1 installed next week with same pipes only in chrome and they are lowering it 2 inches.... since I’m 5’3 female. Can’t wait until the weather gets better here in WV! Be safe! ~ Heather in West Virginia
You have the EXACT bike I want. Gotta wait for a couple more years, to pay off my truck. But everything you have on yours is what I am looking for, when I get to buy mine. Super jelly.
I know it's still early winter in Alberta, but come spring you're gonna love this bike even more than you do now. The Indian Limited is wonderful stock but you've done all the right stuff. Very much looking forward to your evaluation 5,000 miles from now.
Cool man and if you are happy with the price of the add ons I see nothing wrong with it. A HD SG would have costed almost 40 for a CVO without up grades
Beautiful bike, I also have a 2018 limited. Thoughts on stage 1 and 2 kits? You seem to love sound at time of this video. But what about now that you’ve had it out on the road? Worth the money?
Hey bud, Im also an Albertan, just saw this, hows the bike after a season of riding? Im looking to get one also, possibly a Roadmaster, I was also refered to talk with Steve as well.
Papa Bear your probably gonna need the extra speakers cause that 116 is gonna sound killer!! Overboard?? Is there such a thing with this stuff??? Haha enjoy!!!
SJC Cobra was not available to me at the time of purchase so I will probably hold out for the next big thing now. I am sure you will enjoy it though. Cheers!!
It does look and sound good man!!!!. How is the seating position for you? How tall are you? Im about to order one like this and I am 6'-2'' and concerned the stock seat will put me too close to the tank??
