I tried to replace and upgrade my stereo but unfortunately if you do this in the jeep renegade you’re going to have a lot of issues. That head unit it’s not just a stereo. It’s part of the computer of the car, there is a lot of features of the car you control from there so, removing its not a good idea.

Yes! I am going to try to install on my own. This one guy insisted that I do not need the Maestro stuff, but everyone else says yes I do. I don’t care so much about the data integration, but the other people tell me that specifically the Renny needs to send signals to the radio during startup for proper power.

How did you fix yours ,mine is doing the same like a TV going out but before that the AC would just turn off ,but would start again once I turned the vehicle off& on again.Just wondering if it ever did that to you. Probably just gonna take it to dealership
