Good vid. I wouldn’t say this SUV is just for mothers, fathers, grandparents and aunties... as I am only 37 with no children and have the F Sport version. I wanted reliability, style and class.. but I don’t think you have to be an elder to appreciate those things either. I was with you all the way up until you went there with your commentary, lol.
My mom just gave me her 2016 base with 112k miles on it, and I love it. The suspension was a little tired, so I put RSR lowering springs on it and now it handles sport wagon. For anyone with a high mileage RX that needs new suspension, I highly recommend it.
I don’t understand why you keep comparing this vehicle to smaller four-cylinder SUVs that are in a different class altogether! Of course they get better gas mileage. It’s a smaller vehicle with a smaller less powerful engine.
Much better in my 2021 RX 350, better infotainment, ride, handling, and I'd rather drive "antiquated" while I drive past the mechanics shop or dealership for repairs.
I'm 70 years of age. When I was in my 20's. My friends were into "muscle" cars. NOT ME. I've always loved smooth quiet power . I guess I haven't changed much in 50 years! A nice Lexus has always been my DREAM CAR! I think I will be buried in my RX350!!!
Traded in my 2020 Mazda CX-5 for a return to the RX family. That Mazda beat me up and my kidneys as well for its harsh stiff ride. I wanted a smoother more comfortable ride/glide and a car proven in its reliability.
Keep in mind that the CRV, RDX and RAV 4 have 4 cylinder engines and except for the RDX, the CRV and RAV 4 have much less power, thus better fuel economy and are considered compact SUVs
31 yr old here, just got my RX350 3weeks ago. I weighed heavily between Volvo xc90 and Lexus. Lexus won of course and this has by far been the best decision.
It is a tremendous machine. With less complexity than the Volvo while giving you the same features, it makes sense to me. Congrats and enjoy it in good health!
Just bought a 2018 RX 350. It’s wider than my current 1999 RX 300 which is waiting for a Hit and Run driver claim. My 2018 seems slower in the city than my 1999 which has 221,000+ miles on it. Still learning all the gadgets in my 2018.
Congrats on the purchase Angelita, great to hear you are ok after your accident. The chunkier 2018 certainly is part of the reason for the speed differential!
That’s true what you say and that is better for mother, fathers speaking my father just got a 2019 RX 350 and he loved it he said he don’t care if it doesn’t have a sunroof it’s about Luxury for him so.☺️
