NAVIGATOR 2018 is what the Mercedes GLS should be. It's absolutely HUGE...has no pretentions of "sport" and excels at being comfortable and luxurious. Yet there are some poor design decisions inside, but it's overal a great truck and the best Navigator ever. YES they do deserve to demand $100,000. Since these stupid carmakers (with the exception of FCA) refuse to give you a BIG CAR with a powerful engine, the Escalade and Navigator are now the flagships of a company that used rto make big cars with big engines in them.
Bigtruckseriesreview Motorsports There actually are manufacturers who give big/powerful engines to big cars. If you weren't so biased to FCA, you'd noticed that.
simeunovicm You truly have to be careful with Range Rover Land Rover, because most of their vehicles are terribly unreliable. I think the most common mistake (for lack of a better word) is water leakage through the dome light.
It’s a bit flashy for my taste(especially in the interior) but this is a huge step for Lincoln. I hope Lincoln’s future lineup is more like the aviator. It’s great to look at and has more of a minimalistic design in the interior.
Bro like fr I can’t wait to buy one cause that chime is better than any car chime I listen to all the car chimes and I was like Lincoln has the best one
Neighborhood Car Reviews I’m patiently waiting as well, my father plans on getting the plug in hybrid version, which power train do you plan on getting?
I'm a v8 fan myself, but as someone who has ridden in an F-150 Raptor, I'm actually quite impressed with the level of power that the Ecoboost engine puts out. That Navigator is awesome!
i really do love how lincoln went there own way and didn’t creat something that’s basically a re-badge ford expedition like every other navigator in it’s lifetime .. sure is has the body of an expedition , but it doesn’t look anything like it ! i love this vehicle !
I love the new Expedition and Navigator. I always loved the Expeditions and Navigators. Finally the fourth generation came out because the third generation has been out since 2007. When it was updated in 2015 it was as dated but still similar. The all new Fourth generation is the first generation to have a new body. The first three generations of the Expedition/Navigator had pretty much an Identical but had different styles. When I went to the 2018 Auto Show in January I was so excited to check out the new Expedition and Navigator. They are very different in the interior and when it comes to styling. The Navigator looks like the Continental and MKZ in the front. I’m excited for the Aviator come back.
Kyle, nice job as usual. I think this Navigator looks prettier than before. This has all features I need, and I could take my wife, kids and cargo very easily. I think it's a very luxury and comfortable vehicle. I like the color too, not very common. I don't like vehicles so big like this, but this time I'll make an exception. Great video as always. Cheers!
Great stuff as always Kyle, I especially like your takes on stuff like ride quality. It definitely makes sense to have a stiffer suspension setup on a huge vehicle like this
I asked for a Navigator in the 4runner review and THIS SHOWS UP?!?! Awesome! Probably a coincidence that I commented that while his computer continued to upload. Great vid as always Kyle.
Awesome quality review as always! Exciting car, too! Sad, that most people watch silly and superficial videos instead and RU-vid reward those creators instead of those who create quality content. Keep it up, man. It will be worth it and hopefully there is a future with an alternative video plattform for quality stuff...
Thanks man! Isn't that the truth...I hate what youtube has become, superficial and selfish content. Not a lot of people are genuinely trying to provide a service to their viewers anymore. I'd rather get less views and know that I'm still trying my best to produce quality content that doesn't rely on clickbait or stealing everyone else's titles. That's what it used to be about! Here's hoping something better comes across the horizon.
They've already done one, I believe it's the HPE600 or something like that. Do a quick google search. I think Road and Track had an article on it. Looked amazing!
My grandfather has an ‘05 that he has driven over 100,000 miles in 4 years and he loves it. It currently has 138K and he wants to keep it till it dies. He brought it in 2015 when it had 25,000 miles, and it is really depressing to know that it has almost 150,000 miles. 😓😅
You get 400 horsepower in a vehicle with a 3.5L V6. Meanwhile in GMville, Tahoes and Suburbans get 355 horsepower from a 5.3L V8. I guess it’s safe to say V6’s have come quite a long way in the recent years
I have always liked the Lincoln Navigator but the only down fall to it is the Gas mpg. They arent the best on gas but over all they are beautiful cars to have. The other thing i dont like about lincoln is how the gear shifter is set up. I think they used way too much technology in their cars. They are pretty much a computer on wheels. But like i said lincoln has always been a great brand. They make awesome looking vehicles. I hope that you enjoyed it Kyle. You did an awesome job on this video. Keep up the awesome work Kyle. Take care now.
I have always loved the nav, hey Kyle just wanted to let you know later this year or next year the aviator is returning. Hopefully you will be able to do that as well!
Man, I wish they remade the Mark LT. I know it's now an F-150 Platinum, but now that the Lincoln brand is gaining momentum again I would like them to slap a bonified Lincoln grille and emblem on a truck. Love my '06 Mark LT, 5.4 Triton motor be d%/'ed! She runs great.
Premium fuel is not required. It is perfectly happy on 87 and the engine will adjust. Your not doing it any harm whatsoever. You just won't be getting full horsepower. My friend fills up his Zo6 Vette with 87 and it runs just fine with all the power you reasonably need on public streets.
I could be mistaken but i thought when driving the black label, its in 2wd until put in 4x4 mode? I have one of my own and i have spun the tires a couple of times when flooring it
