Don’t wait to drive in elevated style. Get slick black wheels, an expansive sunroof and advanced safety features in the Outlander Limited Edition.
We stand behind what we build. Period. Our vehicles are backed with a 10-year/100,000-mile Powertrain Limited Warranty7 , a 5-year/60,000-mile fully transferable New Vehicle Limited Warranty, a 7-year/100,000-mile Anti-Corrosion/Perforation Limited Warranty and 5-year/Unlimited Miles Roadside Assistance. Like our cars, we intend to serve you well for many years to come with some of the most comprehensive warranties in the industry.
The available Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC)3 system uses radar technology to judge distances between you and the vehicle ahead, helping you maintain a safe driving distance. If the car moves out of your lane or goes beyond your set speed, the system will resume your set speed.
This advanced feature uses multiple cameras around the vehicle to create a composite, bird's-eye view of your Outlander in addition to a wide-angle view, helping to show what's directly behind you.4
REAR CROSS TRAFFIC ALERT
When the Rear Cross Traffic Alert system detects a vehicle approaching from the side while you're backing up, the warning lights on both side mirrors will blink, a buzzer will sound to alert you and a warning message will appear on the information screen of the color multi-information display.
BLIND SPOT WARNING AND LANE CHANGE ASSIST
Together Blind Spot Warning and Lane Change Assist alert you when a vehicle is in or approaching your blind spot. When a vehicle in the next lane is traveling at same speed or faster in the detection areas, a warning light will illuminate on the corresponding side mirror. If your turn signal is on, the warning light on the corresponding mirror will blink and the system will beep three times to alert you that it is unsafe to change lanes.
LANE DEPARTURE WARNING
The Lane Departure Warning (LDW) system uses an onboard camera to monitor lane position in front of the vehicle audibly and visually, alerting the driver if it detects the vehicle leaving its lane unintentionally.
AUTO HIGH BEAM HEADLIGHTS
You don’t have to worry about switching between low and high beams when driving in sporadically lighted areas. Your Outlander’s Auto High Beam Headlights will do the work for you by automatically adjusting between the brightness levels depending on the surrounding light.
FORWARD COLLISION MITIGATION
The Forward Collision Mitigation (FCM) system utilizes both laser radar and camera technology to determine if a frontal collision with a vehicle or pedestrian is imminent. If so, it warns the driver with audible and visual signals, and automatically applies moderate to emergency braking to reduce the severity of the collision and, if possible, prevent the collision.
RISE BODY CONSTRUCTION
Mitsubishi's Reinforced Impact Safety Evolution (RISE) body utilizes crumple zones that route and absorb energy during high-impact collisions. Strategic reinforcements at key body points complement its side-impact door beams, giving your Mitsubishi a stable, secure base that's worth its weight in safety.

Paul, this was great! I just purchased a 2018 Outlander SE last week and just reading up on my manual. It's my first mitsubishi. Do all the 2018 Outlander SE have the 7 sitting capacity? Either mine is folded or mine doesn't have a 3rd row. Anyways, this video was really helpful...thank you! Just checked, mine is actually a SPORT SE a 5 sitter.

Great video. My wife and I are in the market for a new vechile. Mitsubishi came up. I like it. However my concern is how reliable a vehicle is. Is the outlander reliable? Any known problems the Mitsubishi outlander has?

Alex we are glad you like the video! Mitsubishi is a superior product and they stand behind it with confidence offering the best 5-Year 60,000 Mile bumper to bumper new vehicle warranty and top it off with a 10-year 100,000 mile powertrain warranty! Our customers LOVE them!
@kylemas2005
@kylemas2005 4 года назад
They're reliable but you have to take care of the CVT8 transmission. Fresh OEM fluid changes every 30k miles, auxilary paper cvt filter change at 60k miles. Dont tow shit all the time and if you do, make sure its under the weight limit. Keep in mind the CVT that Mitsubishi uses is also the same one Nissan uses, JATCO. Although Mitsubishi does a way better job programming it and not burning it out with vehicles with too much torque, like Nissan does.

I need help deciding between the Kia Sorento and the outlander gt.. They both have the 10 year powertrain warranty.. and both cost about the same... I like the gt because it's a v6 mated to a non cvt automatic.. And I like the Sorento because none of the have a cvt.. (I hate cvt transmissions) I lean towards Mitsubishi because they taken care of the interior updates and material but I need more input...

Forward Collision Warning system does not warn based on relative seepd, it only gives if the front car is stand still. in real world we need for a slow moving front car while you are approaching in high speed. a little Garmin GPS "Garmin 010-N1682-02 Drive Assist 51 NA LMT-S" does a better job. I finally bought this GPS for warning. My old Subaru FMC was far far better.

Can I install HID headlights on my outlander se 2018
@user-uj6wh4kw7z
@user-uj6wh4kw7z 6 лет назад
Ruben Tapia Yes, YOU can (pretty simple to do) or through an independent source. Many body shops/auto repair shops do that sort of thing on the side. Mitsubishi Dealers (at least reputable ones) won’t touch that project because it could void the warranty. Dealers don’t want the blame of a voided warranty put on them. Most service advisors won’t mention it though, so not to worry if you do get it done.
