I cry when I hear these stories; I have so much admiration and respect for all veterans, my brother made it home from Vietnam, but never ever talked about his tour. Today, I understand why.
Bless you Graham Greene. May you know how much your words are cherished. My son and I have PTSD. You are the only person I've ever heard speak truth about trauma. May you be most blessed. Won't forget you. Miyutake oyasin. Wah do
As an Air Force Nurse @Tachikawa AFB, Japan during VietNam war & had the honor of caring for some KheSahn Marines. They taught me that they truly are the best - "go take care of my buddy" !. Now an old lady I am in cold chills & tears watching this incredible video.
Thank you for telling this soldiers story and even as an actor , you felt the emotions . Thank you for taking the time , for it means so much . Never forget the ones that have fallen and the ones in the shadows .
That must have been so hard to share considering what a private person he is. I had no idea he was a Vietnam vet much less in charge of troops. I had no idea he spent time in Columbus, Ohio ( I'm from Akron) or that he was a narcotics agent for a while. I'm so proud of him and all our veterans. I would love to shake his hand and say thank you. The world is better because you were here. Much love, Mr. Greene. Hugs from Ohio.
The world isn't better for those who needlessly died in that criminal action of suffering and death inflicted on innocent men, women, children and babies. Yes, murdered by soldiers, many forced to do it against their will, by the corporate war machine and US government.
THANK YOU SGT BILL RIDER FOR YOU BEING THERE, AND I KNOW YOU CAN NEVER FORGET WHAT YOU GONE THROUGH, YOUR ARE STRONGER. AND THE MEN YOU LEAD WILL BE WATCHING OUT FOR YOU FROM THE HEAVENS
We're only here for a short time. Bad things happen. To some more than others. Please please talk with about anything that troubles you. See a Vet. Talk to a Vet.
