adding key with autel im508 and autel 12+8 cable for secure gateway module. chrsyler vehicles now require the 12+8 cable to clear dtc's and to add keys. super retarded but it is what it is. need to remove the stereo in order to get to the secure gateway module not the best video quality wise but thats what I got. hope it helps

As locksmith we can’t charge a simple key programming fee now that we have to do all this work just to program a new key on these 2018 & ups CD&J vehicles

It's simple and pretty fast if u know what u doing. Everything can come off in 5 mins. And u can thank chrysler for that bypass module. Plus just meant I got to charge extra for job so I'm ok with it

I like it well done just a quick 1 and if u can give a decent answer I'll be appreciated. You using bypass cable right 12+8 and IM508? I've the same apart from the 12+8. Would you need any other tool for getting the vehicle 4 digit code? And what other can can be done via the same proses. Thank you.

Yes 508 with 12+8 cable. Newer 18 plus use a 6 digit pin not 4 or 5. Smart pro can also do this but it uses a star cable which i don't like . Rather use 12+8

U can also erase codes this way. Or use bi directional functions

Where did you get the cable for the star connector??? Or is the same 12+8 cable

you have the star conector the 12-8 and the rfh cable every model is different on location. any locksmith supply company has them

Yes but both ways are good. Doesn't matter honesty as long as job gets completed. Being a mechanic for dealer this job was nothing. Easy $$

Hy miky I've tried this cable with my IM508 and the other cabl ADC but never worked for me? I've to keep using the 12+8 cable. Any other salutation or back probe?

Make sure there is pins on the adc cable with phone camera when u use it . Some are blank. Adc cable always works it'd same circuit
