Occasionally I have issues with prox functions not working with Autel Universal on CAS4. You must hold to sensor for vehicle to start. Even doing on bench. Perhaps I'm selecting incorrect prox on KM100? Once I fixed it by deleting Key 2 OBD then adding new key back in that slot. Any thoughts? Could CAS4+ be the issue?

@@InitialD15yeah your method worked for me. I just did a 2012 dodge ram with my 608p2 used one and it does not work the way they tell you to do it. It only works the way you've done it! so thanks.
I tried to do this on a 2010 Dodge Grand Caravan with my 508 and it just would not work. I don't know why, but it worked awesomely today on the 2012 Dodge ram I just done. They had Locksmith come out and try to do it and they couldn't & one locksmith told them they don't do ones lol
2 years later, where are you at with this thing? Im looking at the Smart pro and the IM608 PRO 2 - It seems Xhorse has really fallen off, I hear bad stuff about their new Condor cutter as well.

Hola Saludos amigo yo trate de programar una llave si me deja crear dealer key y hace el relearn pero no aparece la llave agregada en inmo scanned ni nada y trato de darle en agregar key y me sale inmo failure tu crees ke el inmobilizer o el reader coil este malo porque ya trata muchas veces y me sale inmo failure
@@InitialD15 Pues del chip nose el cliente los compro en ebay creo si pude crear en una llave el dealer key despues hice relearn pero no aparece nada ninguna llave agregada y si le doy agregar me sale inmo failure el carro es un 2005 audi a4 el cliente dice ke penso ke era el cluster y lo cambio y de ahi el safemode como sea no se quita ya fallaba antes no prendia
Hi is the vin module same as the actual ignition? I have a car that replaced ignition+steering lock. Car starts and dies in seconds. Im using im508+xp400 🙏
so you mentioned this was the procedure for a used win module, what about a new one from dealer, will that be just replace plug and play and program new keys for it ? have to go do a 12 ram 1500 in a few... new module from dealer, $700 ouch

Hello Mr Emmanuel, Im pretty new to the Automotive locksmith world. Ive done lots of domestic and Asian, and a few Mercedes AKL. I want to get into the BMW key programming, but everywhere, everyone is saying doing BMWs with Autel over OBD is risky business that will brick the car, what has been your experience
@@InitialD15 So... The obvious question is what happens with the 10% that fail? How hard to repair them? In my case I can't just walk away. I'm on the hook, which is why I always pull the CAS and solder it up on the bench. I'm not averse to OBD. Just scared. LOL Your thoughts...?
@@InitialD15 customer says WIN is actually brand new. I saw a video where you can actually assign a new pin on a new win on the 608. Right when it asks you to enter PIN.,you can just enter any random 4 digit number and it will take it. Can you confirm this?

@iskooobydoo not too sure maybe? Dealer has old pin ask customer to grab just in case or send me vin and I can do it for small fee. 15 bucks . Otherwise possibly but last time I tried it on a new oem and I needed old pin first and then it assigned that pin to new module and synced
@@InitialD15 because I’ve talked to multiple manufacturers of these type devices that do all types of cars except Infiniti they said. Also spoke with one ebay seller that has these units for sale and they said it wouldn’t. Just checking to make sure before I purchased one. Thanks for posting this video.
