In this video you can see a POV comparison between the 2018 BMW M140i Sportshatch versus the 2018 VW Polo GTI.
The BMW M140i has a six cilinder 2.998cc petrol engine that delivers 340 hp and 500 Nm of max. torque. The BMW M140i goes from 0-100 km/h in 4,8 sec. and it has a top speed of 250 km/h. The BMW M140i has a 6-speed manual transmission and is rear wheel drive.
The VW Polo GTI has a 2.0 TSI petrol engine that delivers 200hp. The VW Polo GTI goes from 0-100 km/h in 6,7 sec. and it has a top speed of 240 km/h. The VW Polo GTI has a 6-speed automatic DSG transmission and has front wheel drive.

Bmw M serie is nice when you have enough money in the bank account to not only maintain it but also to drive. Polo gti is a nice combination of having decent amount of power to have fun without having exspensive maintains cost and poor fuel consumption. The size are almost identical but you can clearly see that M version is made for power to be quick etc..Where the polo is more focussed on fuel consumption/daily driving.

A silly comparison really, the BMW is miles ahead and they are two completely different cars, ones a fwd super mini, the other is a rwd medium hatchback. but these are still two of my fave hatches out so a nice video for me anyway.

@@juanfloreslorente5427 No it does not. Polo's two liter engine gives better results. My wife's shopping chart GTI does 0-100 km/h in 6.2 sec. It is comfy at high speeds which Fiesta ST never is but nervous and suspension is too hard for daily use. But of course you are free to buy the ST.
