Bro if you truly care about your vehicle don’t take it to the drive thru car wash. Those brushes are too aggressive and causes swirls on the paint

I have the 2020 LTZ Z71. I can not find the heated seats feature anywhere in my menu. My previous truck, the seats and steering wheel heat would turn on automatically if the outside temp was under 40.

It’s a custom muffler from a local muffler shop, Inman Muffler Shop, and they can ship to you. It’s called the IMS Bullet.

On my tablet the color looks dark Grey so if it is a grey color, and you looking like a true southern gent, GREY GHOST is perfect. A "Grey Ghost" was a term given to a ghost of a Confederate Soldier during the war of northern agression in the 1860's. In today's world, specifically 1979, Henry Paul, original member of the southern rock band THE OUTLAWS" (of green grass and high tides fame) left the band and formed the HENRY PAUL band. The album was entitled GREY GHOST both in rememberance of those soldiers (who some claim to still see) and to the late, great RONNIE VANZANT lead singer of the original 70's era Lynyrd Skynyrd band who died in 1977 in the bands plane crash in mississippi. The song Grey Ghost on that record is about Ronnie's passing. Perfect name for a Grey southern truck with a proud southern man behind the wheel I say!!

I don't believe that there is one standard in the dash or console. I believe they have a separate smokers option that would get you the lighter and a removable cup holder ash tray.

I have a very important question about my 2020 silverado... how can you make the car heater turn on so that the windshield defrosts is that I’m in snowy times and when I go to work I always have to wait in the car until it thaw and I want to start the car with my key from my house and when I get out the windshield is already thawed or is about to thaw 😞

The only thing I know to do is to turn on the defrost at the end of the day when you park. It should stay on when you remote start the next morning.

I’ve never had that issue. It should automatically save those settings. Almost sounds like your battery cables are loose

Go into settings and reset audio. Truck is still in demo mode. Activate onstar if you haven't already..

It’s a battery saving feature. The only way to override it is to push the start button without holding the brake before the 10 minutes are up each time

It is governed to 116. You would have to put a new tune in the truck to override it.

I named my 2020 black rally edition RST Silverado "Reaper". That's on her birth certificate. I gave her a nickname of "Midnight Express". My 2014 Ahsen Gray Camaro SS's name is "Venom" (yes, she's a manual). Not sure if this helps for you deciding a name for your Silverado. Remember, your Silverado has to be a She. RST Silverados are beautiful, Sexy, and has a bit of sass to them. If you're straight, you don't want to ride a guy. If you're not straight, then your truck could be a he.

I'm not the guy to ask about names. I name my wife's car, and she names mine. When I got my 2012 silverado she gave it a new name every day for the first 4 days I owned it. So my last truck was : Gandolf the gray beard, ghostdog, time mechine, justice.

Sounds like it is still in the trial mode. The dealer should have walked you through that. I can not remember how to shut it off but I think there should be something on the bottom left of the screen.

I love her!! I've drove trucks since I learn to drive...until 2014 I got a Chevy Traverse. She was was pearl white so her name was Vanellope von Schweetz from Wreck it Ralph movie. And I decided to go back to a truck this time. I wanted a maroon/burgundy color but my husband found Belle for me. My last truck was a GMC Sierra. My son has it now. I am not a fan of the GMCs.

Scratches and swirls will happen no matter how you clean the truck unless you power wash it every time

@@JoshTheElectric if you hand was properly and protect paint you will never get swirls. My 2016 still shines better than when new. Also never been thru a car wash with brushes or flaps. Only touchless washes doesn't get as clean but no free scratches.

Find brushless wash. They're around , hard to find but worth it to save your paint from getting swirls & your antenna from being ripped off.

Open your door and then look at the bottom edge . You will see a small toggle switch to deactivate it.

+Oscar Rodriguez the transmission is great. It keeps the rpms low. You can also override it if you want using the “manual” feature.

I have a 2020 2500HD and I left the fob in the truck, truck running and I got out and shut the door, so what happens?????? --------? WAIT FOR IT --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------> The truck locks all the doors and the button on the entry handle did not work either!!!!!! So the truck has locked me out while its running fob,,,,, inside!!!!! Luckily I was home and had the 2nd fob or I would have been up shit creek with no boat!!!!!! So a software glitch???? I know now you have to keep that fob in your pocket !!!!!!!!!!

I would strongly recommend NOT buying a Chevy with this Infotainment 3 system. Full of bugs IMO, android auto fails to connect 50% of the time, blue tooth fails to auto-connect constantly. Navigation voice search fails to find your destination on the first try 75% so far. Seriously, after 5 months, I'm considering trading in to get away from this garbage system. Chevy has failed us on this one.
