2019-2024 ACURA RDX spark plug change. They wanted 530$ so I did it myself! 

Rip off costs and dishonesty is why I don't go to a dealer for repair unless it's under a warranty, a recall, or some service that I can't get done at a private mechanic shop. I also find that some private mechanics know far more about repairs even on the cars the dealership services!!

Engine Air Filter Replacement (5 min job): $80 labor ; Cabin Air Filter Replacement (5 min job): $80 labor; Spark Plugs: (30 min job): $400 labor. So to sum it up the stealership labor cost is ~$500-800/hr. But what should be the proper torque spec for inexperienced.

I thought it's recommned at 90-100k miles

Will this void my warranty? Also I got mine done here in Victoria BC at Campus Honda for $300 plus tax only because the lead service girl quoted me over the phone $300 but when I got there other service girl tried to charge me $650 and I told her your team lead already quoted me for $300 and then she was like "ok I will honor that this time" slimy dealership I tell ya
