The timing of some of these radio snippets is a bit confusing. What it really went down like was the actual sound fragment > reply detailing a change in engine settings > overtake. The same probable goes for some of these Hamilton's Special lack of power laments.
@@georgesimon2730 Not really, if you actually watched the whole race instead of highlights you would know what happened. Max had to change the engine settings before he overtook bottas.
Yeah, he just generosity give the space to the young drivers. Maybe he think it doesn't worth it to block those young man's way just to push a car that is actually not that fast. Nice guy, but feel for him. He deserves a faster car, the one that can go on the podium.

@Daniel Tjioe When Alonso was still on the team, it pretty much was. Yes, the aero and chassis were bad too, but the thing is the engine was slow and unreliable

Crofty used to be so much better, now just feels like he tries too hard to make every call iconic or a clever play on words, needs to go back to this style where it's more raw emotion based and not "how do I make this call sound memorable", he's well spoken enough to be able to form top tier commentary without really even thinking about it

I have never seen anyone get excited commentating about Verstappen as Crofty does. Others are a bit too biased towards British drivers, even Crofty is but he does justice to the exciting moments at least. Others are just looking for Hamilton all the freaking time.
Vettel and Hamilton very rarely go head to head. They are also much older and more calculating. Verstappen and Leclerc go all out as if they are still in Karting
Regardless on how the Verstappen-Leclerc event will be decided I just want to say that it took 3 months before having a true race, one of the best race I ever witnessed live
Too bad it ended on a cunt move. The previous lap was just perfect racing. Leclerc looked like he lost it but managed to come back, all because he was given fair racing room on the outside. Next lap though, Leclerc got pushed off and couldn't fight back... And people call the latter ''real hard racing''. What a load of bullshit.

Paul Ricard has to be one of the most boring tracks on the planet, with barely any corners even featuring ripple strips & the stewards have to be on the lookout for drivers planting all 4 tyres outside certain designated areas - with the help of their bitch-arse "informant" Grosjean, of course!! I HATED last weekend's race, so sterile & incredibly dull...
hell, even Free Practice 2 in Austria was more exciting than that whole weekend French GP. But really, for real racing action in France you have to be at Le Mans, everybody knows that..
It was heartbreaking to see Mercs passing by Lando's McLaren so effortlessly. He really didn't have even the slightest fighting chance with the pace he was getting from his car.
Basically what I asked me to say since red bull switched it to a Honda engine and McLaren switch to a Renault engine they switched engines and the Honda in a red bull is better
Underdog of the day perhaps? I mean for 2 chasers F1 only really credited one unfortunately. I am a Red Bull fan but F1 gotta feature more mid field stuff cause it's often way more interesting there
Full respect to Verstappen for putting Honda back onto the top step of the podium still. This just proves that he is a driver with a lot of potential and Red Bull has a great car. And last but not least, big thanks to Honda for their efforts. Quite moved to see them getting back into the game
