This event was the first of it's kind in 2013 with 75 coaches participating. It was an overwhelming success because of the town of Blytheville's amazing hospitality! Let's do it again! Here is the 11x17 poster file link. It is a large TIFF file, so you will not be able to view it in Google drive. Just download from Google drive, and print. Please feel free to post or distribute posters wherever bus enthusiast congregate.

We were there in 2013 with our groups Trailways #4104 and just came back from another rally there. Ours is 1958 and was never out of service, was running in OR and our leader bought it from somebody, don't use it as much any longer as we have a newer bus with a/c and window shades to pull down. Great video and the people in Blytheville are awesome, very friendly and welcoming. My Dad worked for Frisco which ran thru the town, now BNSF. Last time I did walk down to small office by the tracks and talk to the guy working there. He said train ready to leave and when conductor came in to sign the paperwork, he gave the ok for me to stay and take pics, as long as I did not get on tracks. I knew better but this time, that yard building is gone, but we did see a train leaving and got pics.

I think a few at least. Scott (Grease Monkey) helped me put my Trailways PD-4104 back on the road in 2017. I did not take it to this first Blytheville rally in 2013, but this year, I am taking two coaches. My scenicruiser (shown at 1:35 & 4:15), and my 4104 which looks very much like the one shown here at 2:27 Scott is coming for sure. Please tell your friends!

Are they planning another one of these? We should have stopped and took a picture with my newly aquired coach, on the way to Texas from Ohio, my friend Walter was telling me about the rally as we drove by the exit.

Do you still have the 4501-1001? If so, how's restoration going?

Yes, I still have 1001. Very slow progress due to current work schedule (day job). But that will change this fall, and I am very anxious to get back at it.
