Thank you, Kim! I know many people be like, "...the maintenance on that car is too much for rideshare!!", and they're slightly correctly. The thing is, I do my own work and only have to buy parts! I enjoy working on cars, and always have. To me, it's my passion and not a pain to take everything apart, clean it and modify it, then drive it for a few months to see if it makes a difference to the performance of a machine.
That charge pipe looks really good on the car!!! I don't know why but in the audio, your car sounds like a Cummins diesel truck with the big spooling turbos. It sounds really good though!!! I'm always excited to see these videos, I need to post some of me working on my car too!! Thank you Jeff as always!!
Air induction has been my favorite for a long time. Thanks brothas! I want to add a turbo to the Escalade. That'll really push that beast!! But this little 4 cylinder really moves with this turbo. If we can get things moving in 2024, I wanna do a larger turbo build on it. Not sure yet. But yeah, Abdul. Always post work videos because someone is gonna need it one day. These type of videos be having 100k views because folks who wanna save money on.modd always look at these. That's why I explain so much when I'm doing it..for the person who may wanna try on their car.
Extra air flow! This is a 3" charge pipe so the half-inch space more from stock allows more air pressure to build and ve ready for launching when you hit that pedal. She moves!
Thank you, my brotha!! Much love and respect on that! I try to break it down so people don't think it's as complicated as the shops make it seem. LOL! It's just being patient and not forcing anything to fit. Just cruise along and work things around, and these repairs and mods go a lot quicker than forcing something and bending/breaking something. Then you're REALLY screwed, at that point! LOL!
@@MicDropBBQ ha that's what always happens to me when I'm working on the car I always break something but yeah that would be great to do a video on some high-speed buffing with you that would be awesome and I would absolutely do some complimentary work for you for some notoriety.. 💯👍🏼😎
@@frankwilliams5991 I know my car is probably not as shiny as it could be. We could do the hood to show the difference and BAM! You'll get business like crazy! I'd have to roll down to Casa so you wouldn't have to lug all your equipment up here, tho.
@jamesc.3365 by the time we finish that car, you're gonna have the hood open at the car meetups! Hahaha! All custom parts and exhaust. I gotta get a down pipe to replace the stock exhaust after the turbo. That will open up the sound.
I rented a store lage unit a few times in my life when I had an apartment and no garage. I had to put all my tools in it, so I used it for garage work.
How you like that chargepipe as far as brand? Im getting a full intercooler kit with charge pipes for my n55 f10 535i. Same brand. The entire kit is cheaper than buying the namebrand intercooler alone so im wondering how you feel about quality
It's solid. Looks amazing and easy install. Doesn't feel cheap like the stock BMW parts that I pulled off, for sure. Really gives the engine an upgraded look. I also have an intake I put on, but didn't do a video of it. Whole engine looks very detailed now!
Damn bro I wish u in my city. I need help with car problems. Prius 330k miles now . Hey do you know if somebody swaps an engine do they replaced the transmission fluids too ?? Or no?
More air pressure. It's like having a 2" exhaust versus a 2.5" exhaust. When you can fill more air into something, the boost pressure theoretically can be greater. Imagine having a plastic straw as the charge pipe; it's not that much air can pass thru it, and the plastic can flex versus being stable and solid. Now replace the straw with a large metal pipe; more air can now be pushed thru by the turbo, and there's no flex at any level (theoretically). More air pressure (especially when tuned) can now match the fuel in the intake. It increases hp and torque. You get more air pressure with aluminum versus a plastic tube that can flex as it gets hotter, as well. You get more stable high pressure (psi) on heavy loads with aluminum.
🤣😅😆 e-China. That's hilarious! I used to be an eBay seller back in the day. China took over that site, for sure. I always look to make sure it's an American seller, so I don't have to wait a month to get it!
The truth is all parts come from china some ultra expensive are done in japan or germany but 90% are done there. The thing is that most of the factories depend on a manufacturing pattent that the original suplier had once that expires the factory will still produce the item under its own name. Ive done my research. Do yours and it will pan out. I just bught the part for my car will let you know how it goes!!!!
Get that carbon fiber engien cover bro !! Dude ur car so sick.... my 2011 prius will get bootted off the platform soon 15 year old 😢. Im at 330k miles now
The cover has a little carbon fiber on it, where the slots are on the top. That's it. I wish I made more money to keep kidding this car but I've lost so much in Nov and Dec, especially being down.
Yessir!!! That's the GDI sound of clean valves!!! I ordered an oil catch can last week too..I'm keeping them valves clean this time. Never pulling that intake off again! Haha
Depends on how far the ride is for $5. A mile or two, sure. But I won't give someone a $200 ride for 200 miles, no. That's $1/mile. At $5/mile, I can make $1,000 in 200 imiles.
