Today I go over the all new drag ready Dodge Challenger 1320! Shop here for your next Dodge! Call in and ask for Ben with any questions at 801-553-5500 www.lhmchryslerjeep.com/
Jamie Henton the demon is not their “drag only” model. The Drag Pak isDrag only but actually has a higher msrp. What do you think a factory new 9 second street car should cost? Cheap can be fast but not reliable. Fast and reliable takes money.
The ditches would be littered with Demons if every Tom, Dick and BenchRacer could afford one. A Scat Pack with 485 hp is nothing to goof around with ..... so adding 200-300 more hp is asking for disaster.
@MA Campisi, bruh, this is from a year ago 😂 Cars have only become more expensive. A Redeye can be had for under $80k without many options and the Super Stock is definitely appealing because it’s not a limited production model. I’m anxious to see where the Challenger line continues because it doesn’t have many years left. I’m personally eyeing a Redeye wide body to hold onto for many years. I don’t want a “drag focused” car but the Super Stock is a nice package, too.
i really wanted you to press the drag button and you didn't mention the line lock feature. most of the other features are specific to every other challenger
I just bought a 2020 1320. While I was signing the paperwork 3 more wanted the same. Car Infact 1 person was pissed because the dealer wouldn't let them test drive it. I have the only 1320 package in the sinomin stick color in my state. That i know of in NJ if there is another 1 please let me know.
I’ve taken mine to the track too. Vids on my channel. Stock crustang and Camaro SS aren’t going to beat it and I haven’t even got the trans brake mastered yet and I’m guessing .1 to .2 improvement with it.
Next time you're describing the drag radials how about focusing on the rear tire instead of the front one and talking about the compound softness rating and the amount of sidewall that it has?
@@BenHardyCars I don't think that many of us that have drag radials on our rear wheel drive cars are putting them on the front wheels these days, at least I hope not!! 😄
@@BenHardyCars thanks for the response! I have always suspected that that might have been the reason why the hellcats never came with open air intake box but older scat packs with the different Hood design did!🤔
The center scoop is open to the air, but doesn't go into the stock airbox. You can buy the under hood CAI kit for the TA Challenger that will duct the center hood scoop to the airbox and make the scoop actually functional. I'm getting ready to order that kit for mine.
@@themetalmaiden7462 I know that with the new 19 Hellcat Challenger that's where that extra 10 horsepower is coming from bat dual snorkel being fed directly into that air intake but I know it's tuned to make it work
Nope, still too fat. Combine that with a high price it won't sell well. Chrysler should have made an NA 426ci Hemi for this package and took 800 lbs. out of it. And get rid of all that electronic convenience garbage! It's the biggest reason that it's such a blimp.
@@jesselent7894 FCA seems to have underrated the 1320s on purpose. Probably because of stock Demons only being able to run 9.80s or abouts. The 485 hp 392 Hemi in those boats also gets verbally trashed by chebby an ford lubbers until they get spanked by one.
All these people complaining about the scat pack 1320 price gotta educate themselves and do some research. This scat pack comes with drag radials from the factory with the dodge demon suspension and some dodge demon parts. Come on people it’s a 11.7 sec car for 45k that’s cheap. If anything the srt392 models were overpriced
Koons Dodge in Vienna, Virginia is sitting on 14 left over 2018 Scat Packs marked down to $30.4K, and has new 1320's already discounted. I got my 1320 there 3 weeks ago, two days after it came off the truck. Check this place out. And no, I don't work there, I'm just a customer. I'm only trying to pass some good info along to other Mopar lovers. They have Chargers too if you're looking for one of those.
That's because it's very rare these days to actually find a dealership staffed with people who actually know about the vehicles they are selling, and actually know how to use the features on them. They just want to make the sale and get the commission. It also depends on the type of vehicle that your local dealership sells the most of. My local Dodge dealer had ONE Scat Pack on the lot. One. They mainly sell trucks and Jeeps, so they have tons of those on the lot. I had to go over an hour away to find a dealer that actually has a good stock of Challengers, and they were the first in my area to get the 1320's. I got mine two days after it came off the truck.
AZOZ G4MER they’re allegedly 485hp just like the regular Scat Packs. I traded a Scat Pack 392 for mine, though, and the 1320 feels stronger. Just from the seat of the pants.
I don't know about you but the Mustangs haven't kept up with mine it all the GT built for women you know how I got my Mustang GT to keep up with Challenger Scat Pack I put a 390 Fe in it and a good K member 5.0 89 Ford and stroked to 347 keep up with nothing no more makes me sad
Take a 100% stock 2019 Mustang GT 10 speed auto and see if you can run what my 2019 1320 did in the 1/8 mile .. First ever pass at the track 7.45 @ 93 with a 1.65 60 footer ..
Cool, nice numbers .. But I didn't remove my seats or have to add a drag pack ..So just think what it could run with some Weld RTS or Race stars wheels and some 305/45/17 M/Ts in the rear and some skinnies on the front and toss out 100 pounds of seats .. No worries because I'm not going to do that , I'm leaving the car 100% stock . I want to see what I can get out of the car 100% stock ..
@@themanobsessedwithmopar.6661 lol, maybe the Hellcats or when they're going against v6 mustangs or maros but they aren't messing with the GT's and SS's
I quote “don’t want to burn anything up on engine or anything like that, but I can tell it has more than enough power”. You are seriously trying to test drive and critique a car and you’re afraid to push the gas pedal to the floor?, are freaking kidding me? You need a new hobby / job man!!! Thumb DOWN this absolute silly joke of a test drive!!!
How is this nigga gonna say Dodge is garbage if Dodge created the Demon. Something Honda would never do especially anything they did in the 90s. Challengers and chargers been the move since the 70s
