2019 Ford SYNC 3 Apple CarPlay Tutorial - IOS 13.6 

I have Ford Edge 2016 with Sync 3 as well, and following your instructions it does work.

When I connect my phone CarPlay used to show up on the bottom strip of options along with climate and nav and phone but now it’s not showing up at all. So I can’t control my phone from the screen I have to actually hold my phone in my hand. How do I get it back? Ford Fusion 2020

my carplay isn’t showing up on my screen. I have done everything in the book and even called sync for guidance.. I’m out of options😓

Good info... would have been nice to have a different camera angle... most of the screen views are blocked by his hand.

Thanks for this video. I'm saving up for a Mustang GT, 2018 or later, and I did not know that it could have Apple Carplay, until I saw a Ford model list that support it... as long as it has Sync 3 I reckon

I’ve noticed that when CarPlay is engaged, voice commands for some other functions - such as “Tune Sirius DeepTracks (or other radio stations)” is no longer understood.

I just got a 2018 Ford Edge still can’t seem to figure out how to use my Apple Music on it just pandora just comes up is there an app for CarPlay?

Having to plug it in is a joke 🙈

Can I ask if it HAS to be a wired connection for Apple CarPlay? If so that is ridiculous. Ford are so insentient on a far inferior system
