The Isuzu D-Max V-Cross has become something of a cult favourite in India amongst outdoorsy lifestyle buyers. Armed with its flatbed, rugged looks, old-school 4x4 and just enough creature comforts, it's a great alternative to a big SUV. For 2019, it's been given a facelift with more equipment, but more crucially, a new 1.9 diesel with an auto gearbox.

Yeh gaadi 5-6 laakh ki ati to sayad zada log kharidte.. But acchi built quality aur acche Offloading hardware ke liye paisa bhi zada lagta hai..

No need for BS6 till next year. So why release now and compromise on profit. It will be the same blue 1.9L engine with some tweeks to lower emissions.

If Force Gurkha can do a good effort to its interiors and comfort, It can be a good alternative to this vehicle.I feel the Indian companies are too late in understanding customer experiences .

I am waiting for the new 2020 model which is already launched in Thailand and the Philippines with 4x4 Diff-lock sticker Revised interior looks at par with any high end European cars 👌👌 Many new features too 👍👍👍

The nearest Service centre is at Chandigarh. The biggest issue is the 3rd gear....gear ratios tweaked to achieve fuel efficiency. Anyday TATA XENON XT4x4 IS BETTER ,unfortunately TTA stopped it. I had one for 6 years and sold it to a friend who wanted it badly. I used it mainly for Off roading and never let me down

This vehicle seems to be a lethargic one rather than being responsive, though it has all the features present which are expected to be in now a days vehicles. Biggest down point of the car is that it is October, 2019 and the company is launching the vehicle for handful of 6 months after which its engine has to be replaced with the BS-6 compliant. Come on ISUZU!

The engine will be same 1.9L .Only a few minor tweeks here and there to control the emissions.

Shared no need to worry. I can convert this in to BS6 within 5 minutes and result will be more power or pick up less noise better mileage and extended engine life and of course BS6 compliant PUC. Cost is very minimal.if interested contact me. I have done one 10 months ago in Ahmedabad.

The engine bay seems overqualified for the smallish engine. The dimensions and chassis should ideally be able to hold a massive engine with bigger wheels too.

Does it have trailer sway control as in global markets. I am using my Dmax for towing. If it has trailer sway control it will be very safer to haul heavy loads at speeds. Do anyone use your Dmax for towing?

Compare to this pickup mahindra bolero pick up has 80hp n 220 nm of torque which is more less than this pickup but still manage to carry 1ton of payload. How it could be? I prefer mahindra bolero pickup.

These type of cars are very popular in US, Canada, Australia, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia and Africa. But not in Europe. Europeans still like their matchbox size hatchbacks or soccer-mom crossovers and mini-SUVs.
