It's even better in the flesh. (I was very reluctant on the interior 'yellow' bits but they are like a rich pearlescent gold rather than any pic or video I've seen).
What makes you say that? The only glaring complaint of the T-Roc I've seen/heard is the sub-standard interior design and materials. To be fair, it's a high benchmark to meet. This Xceed is a looker for sure. Too bad Kia never brings the Ceed over unless they can convert the Forte / Cerato into this thing.
Kia really has some serious mojo going on right now. All their cars 'look' really cool, funky and up to the minute and the XCeed is no exception. Them big boys at the top betta watch out cos Kia (and Hyundai) are coming for them 'hard'!
total apperance but the substance is subpair...they used to have a competitive price, they don't have it anymore. I can't see a valid reason to prefer a korean car to a japanese one
Jacked up ride height, big beefy bumpers, but 1.4 engine that you have to rev the bollocks of to get the car moving. Lovely! But at least you get yellow stitching and plastic inserts to jolly things up a bit!!!
I don’t care for KIAS but this is a nice SUV especially with the color matched seats and interior details. If this was brought to the US I’d consider buying one.
Great review with plenty of detail. I know Kia load their cars with lots of kit and have a 7 year warranty but 28k for a pretty ordinary family car does not seem like very good value, for that I could buy a Mini Clubman with a few choice extras & I know what I'd prefer.
I have to say, gosh, Kia have made quite a nice young looking vehicle (I refuse to call it an SUV). Those seats could have been straight out of a Lamborghini Urus.
We don’t get the Hyundai i30 Sportback or the Kia ProCeed wagon in the US, so my guess is we also won’t get this. I think all 3 of the aforementioned cars are cool and wish they would be imported. At the very least import the i30 N Sportback in limited numbers for those of us looking for a unique, affordable, and reliable pocket rocket with serious capability. This decades old practice of denying US enthusiasts access to some of the coolest niche vehicles available in Asia and Europe is maddening. Most of the auto mags and writers are practically begging Kia to import the Seltos. I know I would sell my Cr-v for a new 2020 Seltos with awd and the turbo 1.6
Shame there is no hybrid engine or electric offering, Kia missed a massive opportunity with that one. Toyota CH-R is so popular in the UK, Toyota is killing it in the Hybrid game.
"it’s looking to rival more stylish offerings like the Toyota C-HR" - In the description. Bias much? "More stylish offerings" - because I say otherwise, and that's totally subjective.
Looks like it should be a Subaru in the front and a Merc in the rear... and also kia, can you decide which suv/crossover you want us to buy... I mean there's the Sportage (most SUV-ish) the hybrid Niro, and this stylish (opinion) X-ceed. No more the same sector kia please..
holy crap, you remind me when i was 14 and i used to love the first gen citroen c4 (what a piece of crap). your taste will improve with time, no worries my friend
*WARNING* Cee’d So I’m guessing the one without theee apostrophe is the base model? Lol Use English... u sell them internationally or consider to not do that anymore...
