2019 is here !!! WOOHOO
I'm starting my year of Hymer Aktiv RV campervan adventures out with a little clarity, a cleansing if you will.
2018 was fantastic and I had a lot of fun and made some new RV friends along the way . . . YAY
I also received some frustrated comments about my video style choices . . .
WELL - I LISTENED . . . New Year = New Look

First up - the 2019 Florida RV Supershow - I love this show and make a point to go every year.
It’s always fun to see all the new goodies first hand.
If you can’t go and want info on something Class B RV or Camper Van specific, let me know and I’ll do my best to cover it.

Hello and Happy New Year! I'd like to see the brand new Roadtrek Haven, built on the Ford Transit chassis. I believe the 2019 Transit will finally allow both front seats to turn around so I'm curious if it will have a couple of floorplan options and maybe something innovative if Hymer has been paying attention to their current customer needs and modifications.

Hi, first time viewer! At this point we are thinking Activ or Travato. I will be excited to see your videos of the Tampa show. I will get to the Ocala show but it is much smaller. Have fun!

Hi Crazy Lady. Thank you so much for the video clarity! A lovely Christmas present. A question would love to find out is on the Hymer sprinter 2019. Well lots of details really. When will it be available? Price point? Will this interior setup be a available on the pro master chassis? I saw a video on this one and love the galley/fridge set up. Also what appears to be a bit roomier bath. Thanks!

Hi glassary - I think the layout changes are made due to the narrower width and shape of the Sprinter vs the wider squatier Promaster, but I am curious to see the comparisons in person and will report back to you guys. Thanks

Thank you ! Blouse was a gift from Santa :) I actually saw the Wonder when it came out a couple of years ago, but only for a hot minute as it was a popular unit at the show, it's a good idea to take another more leisurely look [see what I did there hahaha]

While at the show please look for Roadtreak , word is that they are coming with new model base on Ford chassis. Moreover, great decision with changing video effects! Thx

CrazyLadyCrankyDog please let me know. In your aktive van to use USB do you have to turn on your inverter? Or it charges directly from house battery Thx

The Aktiv's require the inverter to be on for USB charging - all the outlets are 120v and require the inverter to be on - I asked at time of purchase if a 12v outlet could be installed in lieu of 120v but it wasn't an option :(

Hi David, yes, it's an exciting time for the class B enthusiasts! It feels like the USA industry sat dormant for quite a while and now they're making up for it with lots of new stuff/designs/ideas and tech. I'm looking forward to seeing what's presented at this show.
