How the dealership has not reached out to you to make your experience better is beyond me. Just picked up a 2021 to replace my 2018 and absolutely love the truck. Looks at all the other manufacturers and am really pleased I stuck with Ram! I would find a new dealership before I would find a new brand.
I bought my ram in 2019 as well in the summer just at 9800 miles myself no issues runs great but only issues I have is when I open that back window it’s always getting smudgy idk if it’s grease or what that is.. but other then that it’s a fantastic pickup truck!
@hammerdown, I thought I saw you talk about a dash rattle in one of your videos... I just bought a 2021 rebel and notice a little rattle somewhere in the front area of the driver side dash. Wondering if you can help? Great video btw!
That's funny I have bought two brand new Dodge ram trucks in Massachusetts in the last 8 years. Same thing horrible service in the service department and I had major issues with one of my vehicles, I also love the trucks completely but will never buy another Dodge or step foot in a Dodge dealership. What will the Ford F-150 top of the line truck and service department. Actually on my way today to take a look at the Ford raptors
Just installed the borla s type on mine and put in a stage 3 JDM performance chip. And I'm jealous....I got mine summer last year and already have 28000 on it 😯😧 Ps....it's not a dodge... just a ram. I figured they wouldn't fix your clunk after you lifted it. Probably "voided" warranty.
@@HammerdownMotorsportsUSA I remember your other video about that whole ordeal. That's why I do my own oil changes l, tire rotations, etc. I hate dealerships. Hard to find one who cares about their customers and their new vehicles
I have a Ram 1500 with the 5.7ltre Hemi and love it! I bought this one in 2015 and since then I have really put it through hell lol. I do anything I want in it and it never fails me. I’ve even used it several times to pull Toyota’s out of places they were stuck in! lol Of course as soon as they were out of the way I drove right through the same place without getting stuck lol. Love my Ram! Cheers
I feel the exact same way. I bought a brand new Ram 1500 Warlock and I will never buy another from that Ram dealer I went to. They were so rude and just don’t care after they have your money. Love your video.
Thank you yes it unfortunate I really feel you should be able to buy a car without a greasy salesman they usually don’t know anything about what they are selling anyway the only one I have met that is any good is Mike Davenport in Louisville he actually cares about a good experience
I'm from long Island New York and I own 3 Ram trucks 01 2500 diesel 04, 14 Ram 1500 sport hemi got them all from the same dealer plus I've sent family and friends to the dealer and sold probably close to 15 vehicles plus people repeat buying more vehicles. You would think this dealer would love to see me looking at new trucks wa t the Ram Rebel going to a different dealership now because I use to get $100 for each referral now it's $50 each referral and they still owe me around $350 dollars. So I'm looking for a new dealer also because I'm getting a 1500 and my friend is going with the 2500 and I refuse to go to my original dealer I purchased so many vehicles from. I feel your pain..
I’ve. Looked at so many videos regarding Ram leveling I’ve lost track of what’s, what’s.! I did remember your truck & mods & now that I own a Rebel as well thanks to your RU-vid influence I would like to do a 2” level of the front but not sure which UCA’s to use.?? I will be using Bilsteins 5100 all around. Your thoughts on the UCA’s please.? Txs Jimmy b
That coil spacer actually does lift your truck, if memory serves correct the strut top spacer is a 1.5" lift and the coil spacer is a 2" lift or it could be the other way around
well the distance between the top hat and bottom of the strut is not increased with the spacer but it does preload the spring so it does not compress as much with the weight of the truck on it
@@HammerdownMotorsportsUSA correct,it doesnt make your strut longer it only makes the spring stiffer under weight so your front end doesnt sag as much giving the lift
If you don’t mind me asking by any chance Do you have the link where we could buy the borla? And for the exhaust did you bought the whole system or just the tips? I’m trying to do the same for my ram rebel 2021 truck lol
The dodge dealer all of them suck.. I always had bad experiences with them. I’m in Orlando Fl. I have gone to 3 different dealers for maintenance and they just very rude. I have a issue with the truck and they didn’t want it to fix it for some reason they were very angry.... I saw a guy slamming the tail gate...
When I worked at a Chevy dealer delivery of a new car needed to be flawless customers got great treatment from this dodge dealer they were rude and incompetent I’ll buy anything else before I darken their door for a car purchase again, not saying I’ll never buy mopar just not ever from them I’d rather walk
Truck is too clean bro! I wanna black out my skid plate. I keep seeing a lot of people used plasti dip but I think plasti dip starts wearing out after 3-5months. What would you recommend I do?
Have you tried savage 63? I bought mine there. Haven’t had an issue to bring me back yet but the salesman was much nicer than another dealership I went to
I live in Georgia, the Chrysler/Stallantis dealerships suck here also. The Hyundai dealer had better service after buying a 30k dollar vehicle from them, I dropped almost 120k on 2 vehicles from Jeep/Ram from Paulding County Jeep Ram Dodge Chrysler, they wont even run a vehicle through their automated car wash without charging 25 bucks. I think the entire network really sucks.
I'd give them a look even for warranty work. I had my windshield spider from the heating elements they use for the cameras behind the mirror and they took care of it no problem. I've gotten 3 vehicles from them set my gf up with hers as well as my sister and friend from them too. Good dealerships all around. Love the work you put into your rebel
I’ll never get over the Exhaust haha mines still waiting for the factory to ship. AWE said til Feb 24th 2023 IF no material shortages happen. It’ll be shipped then.
I just bought the Readylift kit for my 19 Rebel and will have it installed on Saturday. In your opinion, do you think I should have the full kit installed or leave off the preload spacers?
A full kit you will need to cut into you truck so no going back the pre load spacer installed will give a rougher ride I would leave it out it’s less labor and you can always install it later if you find you want a stiffer ride
Sorry off subject but I ordered a 2022 rebel and only interior options are red/black or full black leather. I ordered back in May before stellas decided to update their ram website and just found out the interior I got was the basic cloth/leather seats but only black/red. The truck is hydro blue. How do you like that red/black interior?
I like how it looks like the front of the truck i have a 52" LED light bar LED lights and LED strobe lights mounted in the front of the truck and I went to AutoZone purchased a wireless control box everything is hooked to the battery ran all my connections to this box and inside my cab is a wireless almost the size of a beeper handheld controller which allows me to turn all my lights on and off so I don't have to run anything into the cab which was nice. It's called Blazer International wireless management system works great easy to hook up.
I bought a new 1500 rebel 2021 last month, Nice channel with a lot of cool details 🙌🙌🙌🙌, I ordered the doorsteps that you installed in your truck, So far how they are holding in your?
What would be the best programmer for these trucks? Mine has 62000 miles on it. Do you know about lifting them with the stock air ride? P.s. low rider always plays in my head when I lower it
You mentioned you installed the Borla atak exhaust. I have a 2019 rebel 5.7 liter v8 quad cab. I'm new to all this. What model # Borla do you recommend? I love the sound of your exhaust system.
Would you say by comparison that the AWE and Borla S Type are similar in that respect. Speaking of tamer idle sound with more aggressiveness with throttle?
@@HammerdownMotorsportsUSA hey, thank you for the video. I have a rebel with air suspension which I am limited to the existing lift. I see your running 35x12.5x20 do you have a lift? Do you have any rubbing?
Hey man, I’ve really been enjoying your vids. Got a question, im stuck between the diesel 4 door wrangler and the ram rebel (either diesel or hemi) for my next car. Need something with moderate off-road capability, daily driver, and planning to keep it till the axles fall off haha. Any advice?
@@HammerdownMotorsportsUSA thanks man! Yea after seeing this i did the math and it would be better for me to keep my honda fit as a daily driver no matter if i get the rebel or willys
Any issues with brake noise during the cold weather? Happens on mine when first leaving or backing up after it’s sat for a bit. Found a TSB. Sharp looking Rebel!
I got mine at New Holland , I did not have a bad experience, sales was pretty straightforward and made easy, I like their express service department. The only problem I had with service is , I asked them about a problem my 8.4 Uconnect and they didn’t acknowledge it.🤷🏻♂️ I’ve also purchased about 8 Mopar vehicles from Outten in Hamburg, I’ve had good experiences there also, the only reason I ended up at New Holland was because 1. My employer buys their vehicles there and we use there parts department ( I work in a body shop) 2. I was looking for a specific truck and they were the only ones that had it. My lease is up next May so we’ll see how they are when I return it and lease another one ...
