Per the guys at BD, I capped the constant power wire from the switch, which was the red one. Then I wired the black one to the upfitter switch. Your cable 3 has the fuse on it, right? And there's also a relay on the harness? Just wanna make sure you're using the same harness I have.

Thanks for watching! Baja Designs doesn't have a link on their website for just the mounts by themselves, but if you call them up, you can order just the mounts.

The lights I'm using draw too many amps. The upfitters are only rated for 15 amps, so I had to use a relay and a separate fuse in conjunction with the upfitter switch. The Baja Designs guys were super helpful explaining how to get it all connected.

@@raptorrenegade The LP6 only draw 6.5 amps at most so 13amps for the pair and thats from their own website. Your running the smaller LP4 so you didnt need the to run off the battery. But it works so thats what matters.

@@9frankg On their site, it says the LP4's are also 6.5 amps. Not sure if that was a mistake on their part or not. But you also have the peripherals, which are another amp each, bringing it to 15 total. You always want to have some wiggle room and not put the max load on a circuit. That's why I went the route they suggested and used the provided harness with the bigger fuse.

Sorry, I have to refresh my memory. Lol. Let me take a look at it and I'll get back to you with an answer.

OK, so assuming you're using the same harness, it should have a switch, a relay, and a fuse on it, along with the wires that go to the lights. The fuse wires go to your pos and neg terminals on the battery and then for the switch, you cut the switch off and then cap the red wire which is constant, and then connect the black switch wire to one of the 15A upfitter wires. Remember, despite what the manual says, the upfitter wires are in the bundle to the right if you're looking at the front of the truck. The bundle on the left are for the pass thru into the cabin and not the ones you want. Hope that helps.

Sorry about the late reply, just saw your message. It wasn't a huge mistake, they accidentally sent me 2 mounts for the same side instead of left and right. I called them up and they apologized and sent me a replacement out immediately.

You'd be best off getting the harness from Baja Designs since it's specifically made for the Raptor. I'm not sure about wiring it up with a different harness.

No, they are too bright and would blind oncoming traffic. For offroad use only.

Not yet. It's been so damn hot out here, so I've been hiding in the AC. Lol. Still planning on it though. Hopefully soon. I'll post up once I do.
