2019 TOYOTA Tundra how to calibrate ADAS Lean departure camera after windshield replacement. Toyota techstream Software and target aftermarket windshield,
Thanks for showing a failed calibration. I had one of these exact vehicles wipe the floor with me a week ago. Turned out it was from the windows in the garage door in the background. Took way to long to figure out. I’m new to ADAS. Thanks for the videos.
Thanks a lot ! I wondering if I put in a RAV4 camera that has better lane assist than my 2017 Prius prime would improve staying in the lane and the wheel turns and helps in lane assist while in cruise control Then I replaced the caliper and the pad fell out and caliper completely fully extended , no fluid leaking , but now I’m getting a ton of codes lane departure , abs , low break power Looking to get the tech stream too , good videos thanks !
I have found Toyotas and Suburu is very finicky with light. I have always associated it with light/glare on the target itself. Or bad contrast in the background. I will have to try and see if reducing glare on the windshield like you’re saying helps. Thanks.
Hi , thank you, techinfo.toyota.com Toyota service manual gives you the dimensions of the target, just go to the service manual for the Toyota you're working on they show a beautiful illustration of the target ready to print it will print on a regular paper,
How sensitive is this stuff? I put 1” larger tires on the truck which moves the camera up 1/2” over the road. I’m doing suspension which might move it another 1/2” up. It’s +0.9” but I’ve added about 250 lbs to the truck so it will end up total maybe 1” higher than stock. I gotta think the LDA and PCS can eat these relatively small variances. Now lifting your truck 3+ inches ok…
Hi everyone Question can I install in a 2020 Toyota 4runner a line assist camara from Toyota Tacoma an calibrated ? Someone still my camara and the 4Runner is super expensive and Tacoma are chipper so please help

Hi, yes, you can print it on regular paper. I had mine printed at a local sign printing company. They also put a non-gloss film over it to stop light from reflecting.
Hi, there are lots of possibilities why it's failing to calibrate, check the angle of the camera make sure the camera is snapped in tightly into the housing, Some aftermarket windshields are defective, and it will not allow the calibration to pass, lighting, and reflection is a big factor if your printer targets are in a glossy paper reflection blinds the camera, lighting from overhead lights can cause shadows on the windshield. Background lighting will blind the camera.
He gives you good ideas but he doesn’t mention how much is everything, the triangle is , $200 the stand is $200 , if you buy the subscription is about $400 , if you a shop that’s a good investment, but if you a regular person trying to do your own calibration. You don’t want to spend $800 plus your time on , and I know some people doing calibrations for $400 $300 $250 . 🤔🤔🤔 . I like this guy any ways God bless you man , for sharing all this info .
Most ppl won’t spend all the money needed to be doing these calibrations. They’ll need a good scanner which can be $1,500+.. idk if any cheap scanners have the option to calibrate. And the process in general probably seems too frustrating for the average person. They’re just gonna end up fucking up a calibration and it’ll end up having to go to someone who knows how to do it lol
yo estoy en Guatemala y esa información es muy util ya que soy mecánico y tengo las herramientas pero no podia usarlas y con esta información ya puedo. totalmente de acuerdo con tu comentario
