Toyota fortuner is available with a 2.7-litre petrol and a 2.8-litre diesel engine. Where the toyota Fortuner Petrol makes 166PS of power and 245Nm of torque with a 5-speed MT, the toyota Fortuner Diesel is good for 177PS and 420Nm with a 6-speed MT and 450Nm with a 6-speed AT. The 6-speed AT gearbox is available with the 2.7-litre petrol engine as well.

Toyota has also updated the price list of the Fortuner. The 2019 toyota fortuner Petrol 4x2 MT base model price starts Rs 27.83 lakh and goes up to Rs 33.60 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi)
