What a refreshing change to walk into a showroom and find a guy who really knows his product and can communicate clearly about every little detail on the bike better than the professional reviewers. Top bloke.
Except he doesn't know what he's talking about because he says it got the High Torque engine but it's the High Power engine and the Akront rims are nothing new having been used by BMW since the 1990s.
Great vid as usual. You almost talked me into getting a Tiger but no I want one of these ! I'd better get one quick before you change my mind again. THANKS.
bible basher go for this one if u need real fun . if u have partner with u and u need to go for long ride every week or month then go for tiger and put the long range fuel tank 👍
Thanks Happy, I've got till July to decide and the dilemma I have is living in East Gippsland I'm surrounded by wonderful gravel roads that need to be crossed like the Barry Way,Bonang hwy, Benambra road etc so my choice of Bonneville T 120 is out; It would make good sense buying a tiger seeing I'm old and need comfort and warmth for winter night riding when the wind blows off the snow fields but seeing the large suspension travel of the scrambler I was considering its benefits on account of my 115 kg weight and so I figured I could acquire a large windscreen and heated pants. The scram might only have a 16 litre tank but those 1200's get 80 mpg out here away from suburbia and staying at 100 kmh means I'll want to get off after 400 km to fuel up. It is such a torment wanting one of each ! The thing is, I'm kind of partial to the Dargo High Plains Road and its cousins for short cuts on one day rides. I'm six foot five so high seats mean nothing to me which is a good thing cause until you pointed it out on the video, I'd assumed the scrambler would be the same as the T 120 seat height. I'd better shut up now. @@MidnightRiderMidnightRider
What's the seat height just curious...but this thing cost as much as my z1000 when I bought it with 6 miles I'm looking for another bike also one for my wife,I have had street bikes and dirt bikes, I'm really considering dual sports or a small adventure bike with similar characteristics
