I had a KTM 950 Adventure for two years and 20,000 miles. It handled as well as any road bike with its 21'' front wheel.

Good point about the chassis working well even though it has a 21 front wheel.

What is CHAS? Are you meaning to say CHASSIS? I can only imagine that's what you are referring to. If so it is pronounced with an 'is' at the end of the word you're saying - 'chassi'. Nice review man. Great motorbike, design is on point and that powerplant is awesome. All the best

Loved the sound of the engine did you have a mic near the exhaust? I imagine the optional pipe a little louder. I’m on the fence between this bike and the Ducati Multistrada 950s, fortunately my local dealer has both and has demo models to test drive so hoping to get by there on Saturday! I’m a former BMW GS guy (6 of them?) Sorry, new ones just too ugly (gold wheels, crazy colors,red seats)am I going to be happy with one of these bikes ((IYO)?

Thanks Scott for the review under very adverse conditions. I'm sure that you felt toasty and more so with some 25+ degrees temp on this Scrambler and the corresponding heat coming from the high mounted manifold - hope you do another review maybe in the XC in hot weather soon. Stay safe

That color scheme seems to be a similar to that of Royal Enfields seems like it's a British thing. Looks like someone need to put that ISO setting to minimum or auto.

I just rode this beautiful motorcycle for 25 minutes in the february temperatures and loved how it's agile even with the 21 front. I was really amazed by the engine running smooth and "round". What made me confused and kept me from doing the deal was the heat from the side exhaust: don't know if it depends on the "natural" exhaust heat or it's increased hugely by the catalyst, but after 5 minutes I got almost disappointed by the heat coming up from the right side, under the thigh. I'm used to heat, I know that nowadays it's frequently found on motorcycles, but in this very case I thought what if I were in a warmer season when somebody actually rides the most. I thought I should have needed to replace the stock exhaust with a lower, aftermarket one. This would have meant spending further 1.300 euros, not even considering the bike would have lost its scrambler feature/nature. That's why I didn't go for this beautiful ride. What was your sensation concerning this point, @nothingtoprove Scott?
