Thanks to Team Moto Triumph Springwood I had a chance to spend a weekend with the brilliant Triumph Scrambler XE. Correction: Rear suspension has 250mm travel - I misread it.
I wish they would have given us the single clock and a starting key for the XC and kept TFT and keyfob for the XE... Sometimes less is more, especially when I read about all these keyfob issues from owners... at least we would have gotten a choice and when the savings are forwarded to customers well worth it... otherwise a beautiful bike...
I'm hearing the bikes pipes are quite hot almost unbearable in hot weather at slows speeds like around town. Do you find that to be actually be the case in your experience as a bike owner? Thanks.
Hi, Dave. I remember your Buell Ulysses video an age ago about which we exchanged quite a few messages. I am considering a Scrambler 1200 XE. Does it have as much low-down whoomph as the Ulysses? Does it feel a lot heavier? In particular, does it feel a lot more top heavy? The dash is certainly better on the XE. Lol! heat from the pipes: harden up. Haha. I like that.
